Micro stuttering? First thing comes in my mind is to deactivate maybe g-sync and look if it becomes better. Alternatively look into monitor settings to disable amd freesync. If this won't solve it, it's always good to look into ur C-Drive storage if it's too full. It always needs ideally 200gb free space. Ram issues can also cause micro stuttering

Monitor your temps with hw info and check if its overheating, or download occt and run a cpu+ram test, if theres an issue it would likely find it

Both their, and their room mates laptops are low end machines, from a few years ago. Laptops just slow down over time in my experience. Even my Legion 5 is a lot slower now than it was when I bought it (6800H/3070 model)

If these machines also dont have Dual channel memory, they will be even slower. IIRC, BFV is particularly prone to issues on single channel

anticheats wont have the ability to have the level of kernel access as they do now, which is a good thing

they are making a compatibility layer which allows for temporary access to the kernel from user space, it's essentially an elevated privilege without it being in the kernel, and 2 they are not forcing vendors to use it because it doesn't exist whatsoever, and Microsoft have said themselves they will not force developers to change their integrations, so at a minimum, expect to wait till 2030 for it to have any sort of adoption

the ones who have committed are valorant with vanguard, who are always 2-3 years ahead of everyone else, EA anticheat will be at the absolute back of the pack
