It will run, but dont expect amazing performance with that CPU and GPU. The CPU (If its a 7700K) only has 8 threads, when ideally 2042 needs 12 or more.
The GPU is also relatively old. I recently built a system with an 11700k and a GTX 1070 and it got over 60 FPS at 1080p medium, but only just barely. I would imagine that your CPU being older will mean youll get substantially less FPS than the system I used.

I’ve had the same happen with BF2042 and Cyberpunk back when I had an AM4 rig. It would pop up and go away.
Issue was with my drivers being borked, causing my usb ports to crap the bed randomly, and it’d be as if someone unplugged my peripherals and the replugged them.

I’d try not having two input types plugged in at the same time, I.E controller and MnK.
Also, I would try another mouse. I’ve heard of certain gaming mice brands being weird with some games.
Also, make sure your mouse polling rate is lower than 1000, or equal. I’ve had loads of problems with games when bumping that beyond 1k polling rate.

Yes, I'm suspicious that it's something related to the system and I say that because, interestingly enough, it's only discord that has this problem and if you don't have a lot of patience, you'll probably end up messing up and I say that because it's an annoying problem but I know Being "aggressive" with the system won't help because it's programming

@pliant jay in best faith. Get a new cpu. Your 7700k is almost 8 years old.
Battlefield is ultra cpu intensive and some of the older I9's like the 9900k suffer a bit.
Get yourself a 7800x3d or a 7600x and you'll be good.

im tempted to buy this game again and trying optimising my pc for it.. i recently bought squad and failed to optimise my pc for it but then again that game is well known for being bad for optimising but i kind of learnt a few new things about optimising.... just don't wanna waste money though :S like i did buying squad really.

the 99% of gpu is just me forgetting to change some settings on nvidia settings
