^ essentially, because fans blow air in (that config) and theres little exhaust or intake, it more or less just blows around hot ambient air around the creating a negative flow situaition, there always needs to be a good balance between intake/exhaust for positive airflow reasons
bigger fans are always better than more fans because they can direct more volumetric air at once, 120 etc arent that good for large cases

I only added a 120 to the above case because I noticed a hot spot on the case in the top corner without it. Adding that fan reduced cpu temps by 4c and removed the Hotspot
