the older generation OFA on Turing and ampere is that slow that frame generation produces results slower than native because it can't accelerate the instructions fast enough, if it was backported to those your framerate would be less than having it off

no, the DLSS3 optical flow analyser for inferring future frames on Turing and ampere didn't exist so the OFA wasn't designed for it, it only came about during the design stages of AL, so that's why they suck with it

If you have a 20 or 30 series RTX. Use the mod for single player games. FSR3 is only fully out on couple of games. Not all of them so far.
Overall still needs alot of work for it to be polished either way.

any data that isn't with the main OS like games or documents can be moved over, you can do this after you have made a new windows installation, use this to burn the ISO: https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=2156295 it's pretty straightforward, just follow the instructions, you will need a USB stick for this, after it's done plug it into the pc and mount the USB from the BIOS, keep only the one NVMe in so you don't install it on the other drive, remove the other drives during this step so you don't confuse yourself

Ok so, move data from SATA SSD to another drive, install windows on a USB, unplug all drives except the SSD I want to install windows on and then plug USB in while in bios to install windows.

proceed with mounting the USB to install

So can someone help me out. I'm getting an unusual high ping. I have Starlink satellite internet. When i play 2042 my router gets around 35-45ms. My Xbox to router gets around 80-100ms. And in game I'm getting 110-130ms. What's going on?
In COD WZ I get 35-80ms. But when I play 2042. It doubles. Sometimes goes past 200. Then I just quit, restart my xbox and it goes back to normal for a little bit. But since mid season 6. My ping had just been awful. Some matches it'll be 60ms or 70ms. I know starlink has it's inconsistencies because it's satellite internet. But 20x better than other satellite internets like hughesnet and others.
If anyone has any suggestions or if that's just how 2042 is working rn. Between seasons 3 and 6. It was pretty decent. I could play competitively with little to no issues. Starlink is rather impressive for satellite internet. But since mid season 6.2. My ping is all over the place.

I have been having issues with Ping in this game (bf2042) where my ping will usually be at 300+ while most games it would be at 40 or under. I was having a few good games without any ping issues until it started to happen. Even tried with portal with the lowest ping and it still happens.

as long as the drive is named the same, no issues with linking. But it's quite possible its bad practice, however, zero issues on my end, at least.

Samsung migration is a different version, it doesn't directly clone the drive but rather remakes it, so it's not susceptible to this issue, but if you go down the actual route of drive cloning, it's quite dangerous

So I'm transitioning from console to PC because I decided to learn MnK. Figured since so many have an opinion on each side. I might as well try it out myself. But the PC version isn't working. Alot of lag, glitching, getting disconnected or removed from the lobby. When I play solo or portal it's fine. And a match works until we start fighting with the other team. I don't really have these problems on console, old gen and new gen.

someone help me with bf3 fr im getting lesss fps but my pc specs are compatible with it same 2011 game if bf3 and in codmw3 i get consistent 60fps on medium low settings but in bf3 on lowest i get 15fps
my pc specs:
Intel i5 4590
8gb Ram
Intel hd 4600 512 Mb vram (it was 128mb and i changed some ram to it and it shows total 2gb but when i detected in pcgamesbanchmark.com it showed 512mb but it was enough to play bf3)
i was expected to get 60 fps in medium settigngs around 30 -35 on high(and ultra ) settings and about a 100 in low settings no resolution which i use in almost every game (1024x468) streched

Dude i tried codmw3 2011 on that pc it gave me 80fps on high settings uk almost ultra and same bf3 released in 2011 which gave me 90fps on low settings ON SAME PC IS NOW GIVING 15 and its just has been an year since i left bf3 wtf??!?!?

you're not increasing the VRAM allocation doing this, you are interfacing with something called shared memory
when the VRAM is running out the game will deviate to main memory for additional resources, however, main memory is extremely slow compared to VRAM, which is why your performance is nosediving immediately
