so yeah rdna2 is way more efficient than ampere and zen3 is way more efficient than intel 10th and 11th gen.

Why does Gen 11 intel exist?

Well 11th gen is suppose to be on 10nm but intel fab was sucking. So they have to back port it on to 14nm. It's mostly try to have pcie gen4 option for Intel.

So what happened is its not power efficient at all with a regression on clock speed and loses to zen3 in both gaming and multi threaded performance stock. Tie/beat zen3 in gaming performance when max overclocked.

It did lay the foundation of alderlake with gear1 gear2 etc on memory controller etc.

And now one of the best budget gaming cpu if Microcenter has the deal.

It might be a failure as a product but it helped intel to learn alot like backporting node, memory controller and much more.

there are 2 ways of updating the BIOS, OTA and USBF, OTA means over the air (see above), which you'll need a full system to do, USBF is usb flashback and is mandatory if you don't have OTA capabilities, alternatively you can try putting the ROM file on your drive and updating it within the bios, but it's not guaranteed

and to find your exact motherboard open system info, you'll see your revision listed there

games depend on logitech's closed source binaries to allow wireless to operate correctly for surround sound, you arent getting any audio because you uninstalled it, theres no binary for the game to communicate to

I had initially pre-ordered Battlefield 2042 Gold Edition on the EA App and had canceled the pre-order after playing the beta because I was not happy with the game. 
I eventually ended up buying the WD SSD bundle that came with a code for BF2042 Standard Edition to use on the origin launcher.
The EA App still thinks that I have the Gold Edition and not the standard edition so every time I try to download the game, it errors out and does not let me download. 
With the Origin launcher, I was able to download and keep the game updated but now that it's been shutdown I have no access to the game. 
I emailed EA support, and to no surprise, they have been no help and have only responded with generic emails.
Does anyone have any advice on how to fix this?

Nvidia locked down the power options in the vBIOS later on in generations, adaptive was removed as it functions the same as the default setting, tldr don't mess with the card and use it how it was intended

Portal with RTX has the most atrocious profile I have ever seen. It's performance is not (!) limited by it's RT performance at all, in fact it is not doing much raytracing per time bin on my 6900 XT.

This is one GIGANTIC Ubershader that takes 99ms of frametime by itself. The hardware utilization is horrifically bad, and it's using the absolute maximum amount of VGPRs possible on RDNA2.

all i do in nvidia settings is to set physics to gpu, turn off g-sync and set open gl renderer to gpu aswell. used to change power option to adaptive but as its gone i let it be at normal

the physics setting doesn't do anything, it applies to dx9 titles and below only, openGL will default to the GPU by itself

whats bothering me a little tho is that the ryzen powerplan im supposed to use with my series of amd cpu got a powerstate of 99%minimum and max of 100. where the normal balanced setting has its lowest down to only 5%

you're wrong, the windows scheduler for the power plan is better than AMDs custom ones

AMDs ones are depreciated and haven't been used by default for over a year, the chipset will default to balanced on installation

I have a question guys; today the game started with hardcore stuttering, freezing and it shows me the "low fps" yellow box thing in the corner everytime. Main menu is running fine, I didn't change anything in the settings and other games are running as smooth as ever on my PC. After I've gotten a DX11 or DX12 (can't remember) it went worse a little bit.
I even checked my RAM (just in case if one of them would be broke, but they aren't) and I even repaired the files through the EA launcher. Is there anything else I can do?

2042 doesn't use DX11 so you can't change it it's DX12 only, recompile the shaders for the game
