Idk i'm someone that looks at game data and bf4 fundamentally had faster movement speed than bf6.

The reason the pacing feels faster is the 5 second hp regen delay with a 10hp/s regen speed.

in bfs between bad company 2 to bf1 the regen delay was 16 seconds with a 5 hp/s regen speed but this also led to very different balancing regarding the health conomies

additionally some of the map design is a lot closer quarters akin to bf3 the concern is there needs to be more large scale maps of good design.

The main things that make bf6 feel fast are hp regen delay, time to kill, projectile velocities, and map design

Let me give you my honest opinion on Shooter 6 - that's what I call Battlefield 6. In short:

This game was designed for players who don't want to learn anything.

This game has no skill gap. Absurd, ridiculously overpowered gadgets and missiles. The range of all these gadgets stretches to Timbuktu—whether you're on the ground or behind mountains, you'll be marked in a nanosecond and hundreds of missiles will be flying at you. Just as an example.

I've just put it very politely.

Sorry, but I don't care about statistics. I've put 500 hours into the game and I can tell you exactly what's wrong, what needs to be removed, what absolutely needs to be changed, ideally yesterday, etc. But instead, DICE prefers to look at their data. BECAUSE ACCORDING TO THEIR DATA, EVERYTHING IS OK, BUT NOTHING IS OK.

Imo the biggest offenders are:
-projectile velocity (why you feel rockets are zooming at you and people are shooting you out of the sky easily)
-headshot multipliers being a lil off in this entry
-some minor balancing across the 4 classes needs some tweaking particularly on assault and recon.
-maps need to meet prior franchise standards in scale and diversity.

I'm not saying bf6 is without flaws but that the flaws are
A: very identifiable if you look at the numbers
B: fixable when you consider them

Shooter 6 could be the best Battlefield installment since Battlefield 4. It's now up to DICE to finally understand and implement that. Because since Battlefield 5, Shooter 6 has been one of my favorite arcade shooters. After the 2042 scam, I played Escape from Tarkov for over 4 years and didn't touch anything else. Shooter 6 could take over that role. I am a loyal player in that regard, and you can keep me busy with that for years. But only if I get what I was promised - and Shooter 6 is NOT what EA/DICE promised us. I also stream – I only play on one map: Blackwell. For hours on end, and my streams sometimes last up to 12 hours. This map at least gives me a small taste of Battlefield again... Visually, I think it's good, unfortunately too small, with lots of tanks, helicopters, vehicles in general, and something for the infantry too. I don't know why I'm listing all this – but I felt the need to share it...

Liberation peak is only good in escalation imo unless you are an attack chopper gamer or sniper.

Eastwood is solid in escalation and conquest.

Blackwell is way too small and lacks enough cover, trenches, and hilly elevation to do what it wants to do imo

Sobek is rooftop city the map and is horrendous since rooftop access is limited to those abusing the transport heli or assault ladder

I've played operation firestorm for 14 years and it's a decent map, I'm just bored of it

I don't play breakthrough so I can't really comment on that

liberation peak is genuinely miserable for infantry since it tends to funnel players. The mountain in the center likely should get an underpass military base inside of it with 4 entrances so infantry have a safe zone to transistion to the north, east, west, and south side of the map from

but in escalation it forces sniper campers to push up and plays a lot better

Everyone has their own taste, and that's a good thing. But the true Battlefield experience only comes when everything comes together on one map: space, air, and tactical maneuvering on a large playground, or rather, in a large sandbox.

Fundamentally tho bf4 sniping was harsher than 6's.

it's much easier to hit a moving target within the initial 100 meters without match grade thanks to the high initial velocities going up to above 1000m/s where in bf4 the highest you got was like 670m/s

match grade just makes the shot flow a lot better by a few m/s every 10 meters

mind you the only gun with over 1000m/s in bf4 was a flipping weapon pick up akin to how we used to have the mini gun and rail gun in bf6

I would say def check out the m433 its one of the best (in my opinion) fast and pretty accurate at close-mid range, and also the Kord which is very fast and Accurate, and the only downside is the damage

You just got rewarded for doing damage that killed the vehicle even if he crashed he still bailed. You basically get kill points. I dont believe rounds can penetrate the underbelly of the helicopter even with AP ammo.
