The players become like rocks as soon as they stop moving. That can't be right. The very fact that you can get all the way up on the rock isn't okay. You constantly get sniped off there. Plenty of people have reported this to DICE, but they don't care.

According to EA, I've already put so many hours into this game, and rightly so. It's a really good, solid shooter. But finally make it a Battlefield. Hi. This bug has been reported on the EA forums, but I will share it here to inform other players.

This issue is regarding inconsistent visual recoil behavior while mounted with bipod or grip pod.

When aiming and mounting on a surface (e.g. on the ground when prone or on the table in the firing range) while using either the bipod or grip pod, if the player then fires without going out of ADS, the visual recoil will be greater than intended.
If the player exits ADS while remaining mounted (this is only possible while a bipod or grip pod is equipped) then aims and fires again, this time the visual recoil is much smaller than before, despite the conditions being the same.
It is the exiting and returning to ADS while mounted that fixes the visual recoil.

This bug is consistent and replicable across all weapons that can be equipped with a bipod or grip pod.

This is a major bug, since it is currently affecting every player, and should be investigated.

Disclaimer: This is from someone who is rank 270, has completed all the weapon, unit, and class challenges, and has years of BF experience since BF 2142 (2006). It is a consensus opinion based on data and playtesting. This does not include BR.
S tier: This is divided into 3 sections.
S for simple: These are 3 guns that I would recommend to people overall
S for sweaty: These are some of the harder guns in the game but reward you for your skill
S for skill issue: These are some of the easiest guns to use in the game (RPKM with synthetic can be a high skill weapon, mp5 in particular is great at full autoing at ranges and with synthetic can have a ceiling, ak4d with hollow point offers a higher skill ceiling, and sgx can be very flexible on cqc maps)
Better options: The QBZ and GRT currently share the same profile as the M4a1 but with "easier" recoil. The M417A2 has the same issue but it is competing with the NVO with 10 fewer rounds in the mag. FYI, the GRT can be built with handstop+hip fire, making it a little unique, but it's also competing with the SGX.
**B tier: **These are some of the easiest guns to use in the game. The last 3 guns feature large magazines, reducing the need to reload.
Snipers: These roughly perform the same. The main difference is that each has a different sweet spot range where it kills in 1 shot to the body. The mini scout is the best sniper if you land headshots. Imo some of these guns could use headshot multiplier buffs or other changes but are fine.
Buff me now: These guns require buffs since, due to the spread patch, many guns have lost a niche.
Best attachments:
-angled grip or ribbed stubby (other grips like the classic vertical and more are viable for less recoil for an accuracy compromise if you struggle with recoil)
-Blue laser improves ADS accuracy notably. (green laser is viable for hip fire builds)
-Handstop removes sprint to fire entirely, allowing for fluid gunfights
-suppressors especially lightened (brakes are still good, it's super gun specific)
-heavy extended barrel, extended, or heavy (you can opt to use other ones for play style preferences or need to keep costs low)
-2.5x-5x magnification sights on LMGs are recommended. These are also solid options on ARs for longer-range maps
-extended mag (certain weapons like the SCW and KV9 need these)
-Use the range finder attachment on snipers and go to your settings. Bind the range finder button to the same button as your firing button. Bind hold breath to the same button as your ADS. (higher-level sniper players don't use this due to certain issues with it but it's good for beginners)
-Bipod can allow you to mount in prone. Good for certain playstyles, especially some LMGs
-mag catch and rail cover are very good cheap attachments

Consider frangible/synthetic tip ammunition on these:
3 body shots become 2 headshots:
NVO, RPKM, SOR 300c, M240 L, TR-7, AK4d, M417A2
Dmr becomes a one-shot headshot:
SVK 8.6

SCW-10 disclaimer:
This gun deserves to be in the S for simple tier but some people struggle with the mag size. The weapon is probably one of the few guns that deserves a nerf in this game.

M250 disclaimer: This gun is decent in many categories, but has exceptional range. This can deal 25 damage at any range, making it lethal in those scenarios. At long range, this weapon is S-tier. M277 is similar in that its 25 dmg range lasts about 75 meters, but it is much harder to control.

M123k disclaimer:
This gun is unusually decent for its sprint to fire, fire rate, and hip fire compared to most of the LMGs.

Yes, you're absolutely right. I'll never be among the top 1% of professional pilots. So, explain to me how I get marked and targeted when I'm flying two meters above the ground? That shouldn't be possible. The strange thing is, when I try to mark someone, it just says "DOWN" -so I can't mark or target either the jet or the helicopter.

The mere fact that opponents can shoot into the spawn point speaks volumes about the poor design. And while we're on the subject, the enormous range of all the gadgets is beyond absurd.

But the best part is that, unlike most people, I'm actually putting in the effort to master it. Most just whine, and because I have a disability, I can only fly with the keyboard and not with a mouse like everyone else. And to be honest, try doing what I do with the keyboard -because what I can do is extremely good.

Disclaimer: This is from someone who is rank 280, has completed all the weapon, unit, and class challenges, has 46 elite badges, and has years of BF experience since BF 2142 (2006). It is a consensus opinion based on data and playtesting. This does not include BR.
S tier: This is divided into 3 sections.
S for simple: These are 3 guns that I would recommend to people overall
S for sweaty: These are some of the harder guns in the game but reward you for your skill
S for skill issue: These are some of the easiest guns to use in the game (RPKM with synthetic can be a high skill weapon, mp5 in particular is great at full autoing at ranges and with synthetic can have a ceiling, ak4d with hollow point offers a higher skill ceiling, and sgx can be very flexible on cqc maps)
Better options (essentially A tier): The QBZ and GRT currently share the same profile as the M4a1 but with "easier" recoil. The M417A2 has the same issue but it is competing with the NVO with 10 fewer rounds in the mag. FYI, the GRT can be built with handstop+hip fire, making it a little unique, but it's also competing with the SGX.
**B tier: **These are some of the easiest guns to use in the game. The last 3 guns feature large magazines, reducing the need to reload.
Snipers: These roughly perform the same. The main difference is that each has a different sweet spot range where it kills in 1 shot to the body. The mini scout is the best sniper if you land headshots. Of these, the PSR is the most niche.
Buff me now: These guns require buffs since, due to the spread patch, many guns have lost a niche.
Best attachments:
-angled grip or ribbed stubby (other grips like the classic vertical and more are viable for less recoil for an accuracy compromise if you struggle with recoil)
-Blue laser improves ADS accuracy notably. (green laser is viable for hip fire builds)
-Handstop removes sprint to fire entirely, allowing for fluid gunfights
-suppressors especially lightened (brakes are ok, but super gun specific)
-heavy extended barrel, extended, or heavy (you can opt to use other ones for play style preferences or need to keep costs low)
-2.5x-5x magnification sights on LMGs are recommended. These are also solid options on ARs for longer-range maps
-extended mag (certain weapons like the SCW and KV9 need these)
-If you suck at sniping, use the range finder attachment on snipers and go to your settings. Bind the range finder button to the same button as your firing button. Bind hold breath to the same button as your ADS. (higher-level sniper players don't use this due to certain issues with it but it's good for beginners).
-Bipod can allow you to mount in prone. Good for certain playstyles, especially some LMGs
-mag catch and rail cover are very good cheap attachments

Consider frangible/synthetic tip ammunition on these:
3 body shots become 2 headshots:
NVO, RPKM, SOR 300c, M240 L, TR-7, AK4d, M417A2
Dmr becomes a one-shot headshot:
SVK 8.6

SCW-10 disclaimer:
Some people struggle with the mag size, it needs an extended mag. You can frankly get away with just the 45 cost extended mag, 30 cost lightened suppressor, and 10 a cost sight

M250 disclaimer: This can deal 25 damage at any range, making it lethal in those scenarios. At long range, this weapon is S-tier. M277 is similar in that its 25 dmg range lasts about 75 meters, but it is much harder to control. AK4d also has 25 damage up to 75 meters.

M123k disclaimer:
This gun is more forgiving for missed shots than the M240L that hip fire is better suited for it.

Suppressors, all of them, negatively affect this recentering btw, the reticle becomes less snappy compared to a flash hider and has more amplitude when bouncing around takes just longer to get to true center, standard suppressor is the least affected of the 3, light is bad over long range with tr7 turns out lol

Hi <@&1080621250826731603> , would you please make this change before you go on vacation? Please. Remove the anti-aircraft tanks from the map. Five TOW stations, one flak station, and all tanks have TOWs, which was the biggest design decision ever. Blackwell is one of my personal favorite maps, and I love flying on it, as well as driving as an infantryman and in tanks. And please remove the TOW missiles from the tanks altogether—it's just absurd. They're in their own base where nobody can hurt them, and they can easily laser you into oblivion without any skill required. I implore you, DICE. Thank you.

Disclaimer: This is from someone who is rank 280, has completed all the weapon, unit, and class challenges, has 46 elite badges, and has years of BF experience since BF 2142 (2006). It is a consensus opinion based on data and playtesting. This does not include BR.
S tier: This is divided into 3 sections.
S for simple: These are 3 guns that I would recommend to people overall
S for sweaty: These are some of the harder guns in the game but reward you for your skill
S for skill issue: These are some of the easiest guns to use in the game (RPKM with synthetic can be a high skill weapon, mp5 in particular is great at full autoing at ranges and with synthetic can have a ceiling, ak4d with hollow point offers a higher skill ceiling, and sgx can be very flexible on cqc maps)
Better options (essentially A tier): The QBZ and GRT currently share the same profile as the M4a1 but with "easier" recoil. The M417A2 has the same issue but it is competing with the NVO with 10 fewer rounds in the mag. FYI, the GRT can be built with handstop+hip fire, making it a little unique, but it's also competing with the SGX.
**B tier: **These are some of the easiest guns to use in the game. The last 3 guns feature large magazines, reducing the need to reload.
Snipers: These roughly perform the same. The main difference is that each has a different sweet spot range where it kills in 1 shot to the body. The mini scout is the best sniper if you land headshots. Of these, the PSR is the most niche.
Buff me now: These guns require buffs since, due to the spread patch, many guns have lost a niche.
Best attachments:
-angled grip or ribbed stubby (other grips like the classic vertical and more are viable for less recoil for an accuracy compromise if you struggle with recoil)
-Blue laser improves ADS accuracy notably. (green laser is viable for hip fire builds)
-Handstop removes sprint to fire entirely, allowing for fluid gunfights
-suppressors especially lightened (brakes are ok, but super gun specific)
-heavy extended barrel, extended, or heavy (you can opt to use other ones for play style preferences or need to keep costs low)
-2.5x-5x magnification sights on LMGs are recommended. These are also solid options on ARs for longer-range maps
-extended mag (certain weapons like the SCW and KV9 need these)
-If you suck at sniping, use the range finder attachment on snipers and go to your settings. Bind the range finder button to the same button as your firing button. Bind hold breath to the same button as your ADS. (higher-level sniper players don't use this due to certain issues with it but it's good for beginners).
-Bipod can allow you to mount in prone. Good for certain playstyles, especially some LMGs
-mag catch and rail cover are very good cheap attachments

Consider frangible/synthetic tip ammunition on these:
3 body shots become 2 headshots:
NVO, RPKM, SOR 300c, M240 L, TR-7, AK4d, M417A2
Dmr becomes a one-shot headshot:
SVK 8.6

SCW-10 disclaimer:
Some people struggle with the mag size, it needs an extended mag. You can frankly get away with just the 45 cost extended mag, 30 cost lightened suppressor, and 10 a cost sight

M250 disclaimer: This can deal 25 damage at any range, making it lethal in those scenarios. At long range, this weapon is S-tier. M277 is similar in that its 25 dmg range lasts about 75 meters, but it is much harder to control. AK4d also has 25 damage up to 75 meters.

M123k disclaimer:
This gun is more forgiving for missed shots than the M240L that hip fire is better suited for it.
