I don't know if this has been discussed here, but I've found a way to get onto the rooftops on the Cairo map again, even after both options for getting there were fixed.
And this method is ridiculously simple... I think it's important to share this so you know that this problem still exists.
I also discovered that many houses have empty spaces in them that can be reached by jumping from the roofs.

2 days ago I lost in the first map in gauntlet. I got reassigned to a "ghost" team. Normally when that happened (the old bug) you cant do anything anymore and it says "placeholder" team. Well, 2 days ago something similar happened, just that instead of not being able to do anything ,I was able to redeploy, therefore, hello team 9. I was alone all the way in the finals, where the 2 best team were fighting and i was the 3rd team killing the hvt. Think about this bug when you say you are going competitive with bf6. Ya after looking at it more, it looks like the CPU is struggling for whatever reason/has high latency with its contribution to the game's processes. How much ram do you have, out of curiosity? Any idea on what your temps are when these issues are happening?

64GB of RAM, but I'm currently only running it at 2133Mhz speeds (had stability issues at the rated 3200Mhz speeds of the sticks, probably due to old Ryzen memory controller things)
CPU temps were round 60 some degrees IIRC while GPU temps were around 80 I think

Those temps sound pretty reasonable given the intensity of BF6 🤔 And I agree with the decision to run that RAM clock a bit lower.
Gosh man, I wish I could figure this out 😂 I'm in I.T. and love solving problems like this but its hard to pinpoint.

My CPU struggles to hit 60 in Black Ops 7 Endgame, but IW engine's never been well optimized in large environments.
I was able to get around 40 FPS in Assassin's Creed Shadows with Digital Foundry's Optimized Settings
BO7 MP typically runs at 60-80 FPS depending on what's going on

Dear @glad merlin - Sorry to ping you, but I'd love to make a suggestion regarding the picture. As you can see - some people really don't need to be in the casual servers, they are farming people like myself who enjoy casual and not the sweatiness of main games.
Suggestion - I'd like to see an RNG kill number that can be used each game - to weed out people with high kill counts, say over 50. This RNG count, will act as a server ban for the rest of the day, keeping those who are reaching and exceeding the number of 100+ or whatever you decided kill counts - from farming the server's limited players.
I hesitate to even bring this suggestion up, but this is becoming an issue on the casual breakthrough servers, for players like myself who are elderly or just want a more relaxed game.

Another thing is make sure that your drivers are fully updated.
I have a 4090RTX, 240hz ASUS, i9-14900K 24-Cores 3.2GHz (6.0 TurboBoost), 96GB (4x24GB) of ram, I also have my BIOS fully updated, and NVIDIA drives are all fully updated as well.
I personally have my V-Sync turned off, but you may need it because that's screen tearing and they only fix for that is V-Sync typically.

The 5090 is not worth it. All you're paying for is different AI shading. When you compare the two 4090 and 5090 at base stats without upscaling, they're practically the same. The only difference is just a little more on the 5090 side. That's not even worth it with the melting errors that they've had. I'm fine with my 4090 Until they come up with either a better one or a for sure way that it won't melt.

I actually did have issues whenever the i9-14000K initially came out before their BIOS patches. Once I got my BIOS installed correctly, What you're going to need a separate flash drive for to do so on average, You're going to want a YouTube/Google how to do that. I bet you that will take away all of your shading/tearing issues because before I updated my stuff, things like that would happen to me. Hasn't happened since I've updated it though.

That's why I thought it was a shading error. Because whenever you load a different screen with a background like that, it drops the frames initially for a little bit So they can keep up with the actual rate. That typically resets it after going back into the game.
If you update your BIOS I bet that will fix it though. That or try V-Sync

Also make sure you aren't running a bunch of random background stuff that could bog up things as well. In fact having discord overlay open and that dropped my frames because I had it running under an advanced setting tab that you need to turn off. It's the hardware accelerator.. turn that off if you run Discord as well when playing.

T=2 seconds: flying in a smooth arcing motion, effectively orbiting the threat at low altitude without breaking LOS, not great
T=4 seconds: continuing your arc while gaining altitude, temporarily makes you harder to hit but you are certainly easy to see and track
T=6 seconds: no longer arcing, on a smooth forward path at medium altitude and have been visible and easily tracked for 6 seconds straight at least
T=11 seconds: slight increase in altitude, likely helped to throw off their aim but its a TOW so such a gentle change in path was easy to correct for, then you got hit

That wasn't a TOW or RPG – you can see that for yourself. It was a rocket from a tank. It's unacceptable that you don't receive a signal when a rocket is fired. Every action MUST have a COUNTERMEASURE. Furthermore, it's absolutely ridiculous that the flares only last a maximum of 2 seconds and then have a 15-second timer. In that time, countless new rockets are flying at you. The entire balance is completely off, and that's a fact.

i see, i took your text with my first replies and am watching the clip now. I cannot read that language, but tanks can lead linear targets too you know. you let him watch you, stayed low enough that he could easily aim at you from across the map, then stopped turning.
Also you said a "rocket" from a tank. The tank has shells that are guided like TOW missiles. Those fly quite slow compared to their nonguided munitions and also shouldnt give warning because they are passively guided, they do not track you via radar or laser, but manual guidance, likely via wire like a TOW, so theres little reason to expect an incoming warning.
The countermeasure to the action of the tanks guided shells is to stay outside of a flat angle relative to the tank, where its easiest for them to aim at you, break your line of sight often, and fly an unpredictable flight path. You did none of these things, so they were able to use their skill to pull their guided shot around to hit you on your path..
this is the same complaint in my eyes as whining about how you ran into the open and got shot in the face by a sniper. The countermeasure is to not run out into the open and run in a straight line, same idea here with the heli. You arent even flying the schoolbus either, but the attack heli, which flies like a sports car making dodging much easier.

as for homing munitions, yeah i agree that the flares are not sufficient. Even a single dude with the basic AA launcher can fire once, force flares, then fire again and unless you were able to break LOS or get low enough, you are just dead to one engineer without anything you could really do.
The glaive is even worse because if you get painted it acts like an MR missile and doesnt seem to lose lock at any altitude, i do agree that we should have more flares and that ground clutter should make it easier to break locks, but your issue in that clip was NONE of those things, it was instead amateur piloting with an enemy who kitted themselves out specifically to be able to take shots at people who fly like you did

You are making a trade off between having to spend a lot more focus on flying INSTEAD of navigating or keeping an eye out for threats, but it comes at the benefit of significantly increased maneuvering capability, which you are squandering by flying smoothly 🤷♀️ this is a krill issue unfortunately

You dont have enough flares to stop the 400 incoming AA missiles the instant you take off and you fly very smoothly, which makes you very easy to hit by manual guidance or unguided things. This is a skill issue, which you can solve.
I fly with keyboard and mouse (as i fly with the heli assist mode on, so the mouse is my yaw, where WASD makes me pitch and roll). You can fly with whatever you like, just know that using assist makes you unable to maneuver as well, but lets you focus on other things like enemies, where having assist off lets you do crazy maneuvers more, but at the cost of taking most of your focus. That is a decision you should make for yourself, but I see that you have it off (so you cant focus on the enemies as well), but also arent using that extra capability, hence squandering it
My point with this is that you are complaining because you are getting shot by things that are usually a consequence of bad piloting, changing how you fly will make TOW missiles, RPGs, and the guided tank munitions very unlikely to hit you
now to be fair i also do get hit with those now and then, but its because i get complacent and stop dodging like a bunny on crack 🤣

the only ever time ive flown a helicopter before BF6 was under 10 times in arma 3. Ive never played BF before this and i dont have a history of flying helicopters. I am not asking you to have insane skills or great reaction time, just to understand that you need to keep track of where enemies are likely looking at you from, avoid flying in straight easy to predict lines, and go into areas where you can easily be shot ONLY long enough to fire off missiles then dip back out.
I havent spoken on the infantrymen portion of this, the atk heli can gun down multiple people with its HE chin gun in seconds, and the infantrymen can gun down the atk heli with an rpg or AA missile in seconds, but only if the heli is out in the open for long enough, and is flying in predictable paths

I can only play races with the controller because I can no longer reach the crossbar with my thumb or fingers. My fingers are deformed. I suffer from MS and rheumatoid arthritis, and it's all so severe that the doctors don't know how it happened. They've never seen anything like it.
Is it really too much to ask that, while it shouldn't be made easy, it should at least still be possible for other people? I mean, EVERYTHING is being done for the infantry – just not for the helicopters or jets. The countermeasures for the infantry are absurd.

they have to be mindful of the position of enemy helicopters, avoid getting caught in the open, use cover, or else they get easily murdered by said helicopters. They have to play AROUND the helicopter threat, just as helicopter have to play AROUND the threat of AA

TOW stations are at known positions with limited azimuth and elevation angles, and do not provide any protection to the person using them though lol
if you stand IN FRONT of a missile launcher, then act like the game is unbalanced when it fires at you, you dont make any moves to dodge, and then it shoots you down, i dont believe i can give you any advice

I have some very bad news for you.
the probability that a random side wins a match of battlefield is 50% on average. This applies with skill based matchmaking or not.
The only non-randomized portion of your sample set is YOU and your squad.
You can use a binomial probability formula to find out how likely it is to, as an AVERAGE player, experience 28 losses in 30 matches. The probability of this is as seen below, almost impossibly small. This means that the sample set is NOT random.
This meaning that, if you are queuing alone, you being on your team plays a major role in their defeat. If you are queueing with a squad of some kind, then your squad being on your team plays a major role in their defeat. This pointing to the actions you taking being hugely detrimental to your team...
in essence, if you are telling the truth about losing 28 times in 30 matches, you are almost certainly a VERY large factor in losing so much, and you might want to reconsider how you play......

i DEFINITELY dont like the tank upgrade 🤣 (though i just looked and i confused it with the actual TANKS armor upgrade, for helis it says only the heavy warhead upgrade diminishes maneuverability, the armor one doesnt say that it does!)
though im confused what you mean by "is this another one of your strokes of genius?", as im not the one who decided that you lose control authority when you take damage lol, though it is realistic which I find nice. You have to predict that you are likely to take damage soon and then point towards a direction that staves off a crash, then you can either use the repair gadget, which heals you enough to gain back full control authority even from 1% hp, or you can fly with MUCH greater difficulty, at low enough hp you can start spinning and cant stop due to tail rotor damage, so you have to actually turn INTO the spin to go where you need.
I think it is reasonable that heavily damaged helicopters lose their controllability, though I also note that you had ~40% helicopter HP, you still retain the vast majority of your hydraulics and such in that case, so im unsure why you didnt pull up?

Yea sometimes you get games like that…I highly recommend Strike 5 hardcore servers…the lobbies always play point or almost always and the down system makes it super team oriented infantry squads…you can crawl when ur downed

Ping differences can do that shit to you, it might be that he fired before you and then stepped back behind that pilar. For you it didnt show that but might be the case.

Its great that they changed the timing on these Escalations. I don't mind if the fight lasts over 30 mins if it's a nailbiter like that one was. It was so hilarious. In the end the annoucer kept saying: We are loosing the fight.... We are winning the fight.. over and over again 😂

As you can see, I painted a heli and it was immediately shot down. But I check my challenge progress at the top right and the “damage to painted targets” doesn’t register. Any clue why?
I thought at first I was required to paint with the tracer dart but you can also see I’ve marked 14 targets with that. Damage to those also wasn’t registering.
