fair enough. I will say the gun is quite consistent at a distance in semi auto mode. the 4 shot ttk in semi auto is 500ms. 333ms if u land 3 headshots (or 2 headshot + 1 body with hollow points). you can def alter your playstyle to stay within mid range in a good amount of maps, especially if u use smokes. i just personally prefer maximizing my full auto-able distance to be as far as possible

Disclaimer: This is from someone who is rank 130, has completed all the weapon, unit, and class challenges, and has years of BF experience since BF 2142 (2006). It is my own opinion based on data and playtesting. This does not include BR

All guns B tier and up are competitive. Tiers B-S merely distinguish the quality of a weapon's purposes to a degree:
S tier: This is divided into 2 sections. Section 1 includes some very hard guns to use, but they specialize in what they do. Section 2 includes some of the simplest guns in the game.
A tier: all-around solid guns that are easy to pick up and play.
B tier: These are fantastic at long ranges. These are some of the easiest guns to use in the game. The last 4 guns feature large magazines, reducing the need to reload.
C tier: These guns are laser beams but compromise a lot in time to kill and range fall-off for their high accuracy and low recoil.
Snipers: These roughly perform the same. The main difference is that each has a different sweet spot range where it kills in 1 shot to the body. The mini scout is the best sniper if you land headshots.

Best attachments:
-angled grip or ribbed stubby (other grips like the classic vertical and more are viable for less recoil for an accuracy compromise if you struggle with recoil)
-Blue laser improves ADS accuracy even when still. The buff when still might be a bug. (green laser is viable for hip fire builds)
-suppressors especially lightened (brakes are still good, it's super gun specific)
-heavy extended barrel, extended, or heavy (you can opt to use other ones for play style preferences or need to keep costs low)
-2.5x-5x magnification sights on LMGs are recommended. These are also solid options on ARs for longer-range maps
-extended mag (certain weapons like the SCW and KV9 need these)
-Use the range finder attachment on snipers and go to your settings. Bind the range finder button to the same button as your firing button. Bind hold breath to the same button as your ADS.
-Bipod can allow you to mount in prone. Good for certain playstyles, especially some LMGs

Consider frangible/synthetic tip ammunition on these:
3 body shots become 2 headshots:
NVO, RPKM, SOR 300c, M240 L, TR-7, AK4d, M417A2
Dmr becomes a one-shot headshot:
SVK 8.6

M250 disclaimer: This gun is decent in many categories, but has exceptional range. This can deal 25 damage at any range, making it lethal in those scenarios. At long range, this weapon is S-tier. M277 is similar in that its 25 dmg range lasts about 65 meters, but it is much harder to control.

Disclaimer: This is from someone who is rank 130, has completed all the weapon, unit, and class challenges, and has years of BF experience since BF 2142 (2006). It is my own opinion based on data and playtesting. This does not include BR

All guns B tier and up are competitive. Tiers B-S merely distinguish the quality of a weapon's purposes to a degree:
S tier: This is divided into 2 sections. Section 1 includes some very hard guns to use, but they specialize in what they do. Section 2 includes some of the simplest guns in the game.
A tier: all-around solid guns that are easy to pick up and play.
B tier: These are fantastic at long ranges. These are some of the easiest guns to use in the game. The last 3 guns feature large magazines, reducing the need to reload.
C tier: These guns are laser beams but compromise a lot in time to kill and range fall-off for their high accuracy and low recoil.
Snipers: These roughly perform the same. The main difference is that each has a different sweet spot range where it kills in 1 shot to the body. The mini scout is the best sniper if you land headshots.

Best attachments:
-angled grip or ribbed stubby (other grips like the classic vertical and more are viable for less recoil for an accuracy compromise if you struggle with recoil)
-Blue laser improves ADS accuracy even when still. The buff when still might be a bug. (green laser is viable for hip fire builds)
-suppressors especially lightened (brakes are still good, it's super gun specific)
-heavy extended barrel, extended, or heavy (you can opt to use other ones for play style preferences or need to keep costs low)
-2.5x-5x magnification sights on LMGs are recommended. These are also solid options on ARs for longer-range maps
-extended mag (certain weapons like the SCW and KV9 need these)
-Use the range finder attachment on snipers and go to your settings. Bind the range finder button to the same button as your firing button. Bind hold breath to the same button as your ADS. (higher-level sniper players don't use this due to certain issues with it but it's good for beginners)
-Bipod can allow you to mount in prone. Good for certain playstyles, especially some LMGs

Consider frangible/synthetic tip ammunition on these:
3 body shots become 2 headshots:
NVO, RPKM, SOR 300c, M240 L, TR-7, AK4d, M417A2
Dmr becomes a one-shot headshot:
SVK 8.6

M250 disclaimer: This gun is decent in many categories, but has exceptional range. This can deal 25 damage at any range, making it lethal in those scenarios. At long range, this weapon is S-tier. M277 is similar in that its 25 dmg range lasts about 75 meters, but it is much harder to control.

M123k disclaimer:
This gun is unusually decent for its sprint to fire, fire rate, and hip fire compared to most of the LMGs.

M4a1, GRT-C, QBZ, disclaimer: currently these 3 weapons share the same damage and fall off ranges meaning that the GRT and QBZ are more accurate easier to use versions of the m4a1 that compromise fire rate.

QBZ is an A tier IMO. I spent about 60 levels alone using that gun a ton, and straight up folded players like beach towels 24/7.

Its main issue is that it has the same profile as the grt and m4a1 but is more accurate

I tiered them accordingly as they’re all pretty simple guns but m4a1 is overall the easiest. GRT-c is a nice middle ground, and QBZ is the easiest to use but compromises ttk @orchid merlin

And I’m not exaggerating like they have the exact same shots to kill at the exact same range fall off values (I can’t think of any other situation where 2 guns share such similar range fall off values)

Currently they share the M4’s range fall off which is weird cuz going to a 4 shot kill to a 5 shot kill that quickly for these weapons is odd considering they try to be more accurate you would think they would extend the ranges too

The precision/accuracy + 1.75x damage multi for headshots is what makes it shine if you are accurate. My M4 is around lvl 38, ill use it again eventually haha

FYI 1.75 currently doesn’t change break points relative to 1.5.

1.5x25=37.5x2=75

It might matter at certain range fall offs

Maybe making it so synthetic for QBZ lowers the fire rate by 20 but gives a 2x multiplier would make it a dedicated headshot gun

I mainly when it comes to guns think of how their role is used in real life scenarios…such as when I have an lmg im constantly holding down lanes or whatever the paintball terminology is for the two guys that sit in the back and just constantly lay down fire down a certain area between the two of them it their output usually crosses one another downfield…so suppressing areas of likely movement…also being a solo player it’s nice to not have to reload when your outnumbered and being able to prefire without having to meticulously keep ur ammo count in mind while doing so

I also play hardcore only so the suppression has to be more strategic or you will gut ur whole team

Tbh a lot of this tier list kinda goes out a window in hardcore lol

The damage values of that mode are tailored to entirely different breakpoints

For example if players have 50 hp 33 damage weapons are kinda useless in practice vs 25 cuz they reach the same break point of 50 damage in 2 shots (excluding hollow point headshots)

Idk the exact breakpoints of hardcore tbh
