Depends what you're pairing it with. Deagle is good for pairing with SMGs, shotguns, and carbines, but the CZs consistentcy is a better backup for ARs, DMRs, snipers, and LMGs.

There has been a plague of server crashers the last 8 months that EA refuses to acknowledge or fix and even if you can find a server which there are very few left and the populated ones mostly have badmins that will ban you for any reason it's just a waste of time.

iirc it only shakes if an explosion happens around you so the camera generally shakes or if you land after a jump, i didn't notice that much shaking from it other than in those two situations

if you're trying to actively shoot near an AA gun or a tank it may be the reason even though i doubt it's the case

also it may simply be the gun's recoil

the recoil is much more noticeable when zoomed in, and considering that most iron sights go for x1.5 zoom, it may be the case

pacific maps are way too open, there are some areas where you just have nowhere to hide from snipers or vehicles and as infantry that's really annoying, that's why i prefer el marj & marita tbh, the only maps i consider good BFV experience, sometimes rotterdam/devastation though because there seem to be not so many snipers and camping tanks

If it's the Steam version then the .dlf license files are corrupted. Do a search for .dlf in your hard drive and delete any that come up then restart computer. They are in a hidden EA folder and are the cause of all the Steam problems with BF3. Once you start the game Origin will fix the license files but it may happen again so you will need to repeat the process.

It's a well known problem that's been around for a while, had the same issue myself and had to delete the .dlf files many times to get BF3 to work. Don't bother with the youtube video about it as none of them actually fix that problem, they just describe the Punkbuster problems and fix which is seperate.

Yeah it has, it was a next gen game really that was scaled down to run on PS3 and 360. I think now would be a perfect time to have a remaster on PS5 and SX. BC2 also holds up pretty well but I think the main improvement was in animations between those two games feel much smoother in BF3.

I'm torn between playing Assault or Medic. Assault let's me use shotguns and rush good, but medic let's me have purpose and makes me feel good when I revive people.

Well funnily enough that's usually Medic. The problem is I need something that can help me secure my teammates carcass so I can pick them up. But I also should be able to cover medium ranges as well, and I have like 0 knowledge of what would be good for that.

So I played all the way to lvl 500 on BFV without changing any settings. I have now started trying new settings to help improve my game as more practice without change will not improve my game. Do you guys adjust many settings such as FoV, sensitivity etc?

fov depends on the game, since bf titles have a mix of indoors and outdoors my fov is usually centered, but if you favor close range/indoors then high fov would benefit, and reverse for sniping

i always adjust my sensitivity to match my distance to 360 as other fps game, though this is a mouse and keyboard thing

i basically change everything in my settings now that i think about it
