There's good variety already but they could introduce varieties of vehicles specific to that dlc. Kind of like the winter maps and the hover tanks in bf4. I'd be a sucker and buy simply one dlc for like 60 dollars a year if they did this. Just re-release on a new engine when it gets outdated and stay true to the core.

I'm personally a huge user of the eod bot in bf4 and it's totally fucked in bf3, so add bf4s eod bot in bf3 and lessen suppression and that's great.

Oh actually the spawning is a little weird in bf3. Can't spawn on air vehicles at uncap and spawn beacons are permanently one time use. Minor stuff but enough for me to choose bf4 and tolerate the shitty maps in comparison to bf3s maps

Man I'm honestly getting so sick of bf4 maps but going from bf4 to bf3 mechanics feels like I'm missing a lot. Bf3 to bf4 feels like I'm missing a lot in terms of maps. Been struggling with this back and forth all throughout bf1 and bfv and was really looking forward for 2042 to be the thing that stitches those two together. Surround yourself with blue dots in the map, if you're not actively shooting be in 3rd person to be more aware of your surroundings. watch out for drones (for now until patch, especially in breakthrough). Save maintenance for repairing broken tracks if you're under fire. Play around cover (buildings, elevation). Hopping out of the tank quickly can break ATG lock before they shoot. For loadout I like normal shell, heavy machine gun. With STAFF shell you can snipe really far but other than that its bad. Gunner can be any but tow missile seems the most useful if they can aim it, the rest imo are equally horrible. For support seat kinetic grenades. Don't stay in the same place for too long. Try to position yourself so you can be shot from as few angles as possible with recoilless' but at the same time don't be close enough to an enemy controlled building they could c5 you from. If there is no cover, be as out in the open as you can so people can't sneak up on you with c5. Also be careful if you chase a bolte :)

I can only tell you my experience. I play on the PC and it's reasonably fun. With friends even more so. However, there are simply points like the maps and also on the PC the perfomance that is just shit. On the console, the perfomance should be good, I do not really know. The Battlefield is not comparable to a Battlefield 3,4 or 5, it's just different. I would wait in your place, but if you really want to play the game, then just treat yourself to it.

Hey guys I got BF1 for free earlier this year, and then got an EA Play subscription via Xbox game pass recently.
The BF1 Revolution edition is included with this subscription but I can't seem to download the DLCs and can only join vanilla game servers.
