Well in that case the armor would have need to be huge and heavy something like iron man but that would mean full exoskeleton and trust me no army would give their brigades this because it would cost bilions to arm full brigade with this. Maybe and only maybe in very limited use for Special forces but still it would mean in real combat everybody aiming on these specific units and trying to destroy them with any means.

But in terms of damage from shock look at armor plates these day yeah they stop 7,62x54 sniper rifle round from SVD or Mosin but they will at least break your ribs.

if worse case scenario cause internal bleeding and in prolonged combat you are dead.

To make my thought complete in guerilla warfare as was in Afghanistan yeah you would live because you would get case evac soon but in frontline combat against regular army which would be fucking hell well you are dead.

I don't know if this is the right chat to write this in, but battlefield as a game needs some sort of effective way to listen to consumer feedback. I suggest once in a while they do polls and make a couple options and keep it simple. Do 2 questions at a time: what feature would you like to see added, and what feature would you like to see removed. Then the developers work on it one at a time

BF1's 64 player multiplayer is more intense, even with having less players.
Like in Suez, Where we attacked objective c, on the hill, we took heavy casualities, but on the end, we took it. Objective c went back and forth. in the end, it was very close. BF2042 cannot achieve this level on intensity because of the maps. They are simply too big.

When you start up your pc depending on what your motherboard is (most of them use the delete button) you hit that button to go into your bios. Usually your TPM is under security and you should be able to disable it. Hard to tell without knowing much about the mobo and bios menu

If I remember correctly, EA/DICE does bans in waves e.g they first gather a list of suspected hackers then once a certain time has passed like a month or so, they ban them all together.

That's how I remember them doing it, idk about it now but it can explain why you and a lot other people were hit with the ban at the same time.

you want to have cover for example, and make sure you use your weapon for what its designed for

and look at what you are dying from, if you keep dying in close quarters, maybe try hipfiring more and moving around etc

Update on the ban fiasco:

Filed a ticket with EA support, I listed the software I normally run when playing games and asked for clarification on what got me banned

Got a cookie cutter response, saying they did an investigation and confirmed that my account was involved with cheating

I followed up again asking what did they discern as cheating, I offered to provide a program list, gameplay footage, etc to help my claim

They investigated a second time and came up with the same answer, they're right and I violated TOS

With two "full investigations" they seem the matter resolved

Needless to say I'm adamant I didn't do anything wrong, no cheat programs or anything, haven't even run a farming solo lobby or joined a portal farm server

Just wanted to post this for anyone experiencing the same thing, it's a bit frustrating since I was actually having fun with the game but this definitely sours the experience.

Anyone have luck getting a ban overturned in the past?

I'm still going to follow up because I'm not convinced they're actually "investigating" anything and are just relying on EAC/whatever metrics they use to define "cheating"

it's very populated in EU, moderately populated in Asia but you'll have to play on Jap and HK servers, and American servers are kind of populated. I should see all of them because I have made my region preferences completely neutral, but somehow there are always so little NA based servers.

as for other modes, you'll find a couple servers for TDM, Domination, Rush... But for Air Assault, Supply Drop and War Pigeons you will have to get lucky; there are servers that rotate their gamemodes so sometimes it lands on the latter three but more often it does not.
