I've been using the Karabin 1938 a lot lately. Very nice performer, keeps its damage up at longer ranges than most SARs and is highly accurate to boot. One more tactile detail I've begun to notice is that the stripper clip reload is actually making my controller give off a slight rumble with each bullet as they slide in. Just five tiny bumps in a row.

Really, the only downside of this gun is the fact that it can't get a bayonet.

See, when I think of Fallout 76, all I can think is how terrible it must've felt for those people who did enjoy the game from launch despite its issues (because those people do/did exist) to have the ENTIRE internet go out of their way to rip the flesh off of something they enjoyed

Yeah it really sucks, but i feel like that's a product of gaming in general becoming more critical due to just how great games have gotten. out standards have gotten higher as inspiration and new ideas have gotten lower. and people think that you HAVE to disagree with someone to be cool or some stupid shit.

I think its this overarching thing that's come out of that aspect, of standards being so high. Nowadays, it feels like everyone's top priority is overemphasizing things that are "bad" with a game as opposed to focus on the things that a game does well, or what's fun about a game.

I saw this all the time with BFV, I'd be having a great time in a match while everyone else in my party is just busy nitpicking every single little thing that goes wrong with their game, whether that be actually the game's fault or not. I just don't understand of playing games to criticize instead of to, yknow, have fun

yeah i can appreciate almost everything about a game. i see all the effort, blood, sweat, tears, and passion going into a videogame that i've never seen anyone talk about, and it saddens me that people just label games as bad automatically because they don't like them this much. it's just sad.

bf4's gunplay is so dependent on randomness that I never found games to be that sweaty, regardless of tryhards

My experience as a new player trying to play on certain maps: load into the one I want, it only has a few tickets left and then switch. Or load into one where the map I want is the next in rotation, then apparently people vote for something different.

I ask because I'm kind of sad at the idea that player numbers will plummet after 2042 release because I'm actually loving this game but not interested in the new one coming out.
