The AEK-971 is one of the most boring weapons in the game and we have people who've been playing since launch with it exclusively.

I'm not sure if they actually have a functional brain left.

Basically, weapon meta always favours high ROF guns that fire so quick that by the time the recoil starts mattering the target's already dead.
