my biggiest issue is how buggy the unlocks were if you left the game before the end screen after you unlocked something you won't get said unlock atm, you have to level up again and make sure you wait till the end screen its buggy as crap

Well, every single time infinity ward makes a COD game, its always not like COD, like ground war mode which was the worst, and they did a mission in COD ghosts where it was like BF3 mission, the one with rolling thunder, and yes BF did copy some things COD did, but both did it to evolve and survive, but the real COD died after BO2, the 6v6 after that was not the same, but this is just my opinion

Do I rank different in different servers? I just started, and in the normal "quickplay" servers? Most games when you play custom servers and such, they remove XP, and obtainable items. Is BF4 the same? Should I play in the normal servers to go through the rank system with my extra XP boosts etc? Or should I play on the fun custom servers and expect the same ranking up results?

I played 4 when like a few months before hardline came out. But 4 just feels meh nowadays compared to the newer battlefields. Sure it's the most modern and stuff, but it lacks a lot of the QOL newer battlefields added and the guns dont feel punchy
