It allows for more versitility but removes part of the uniqueness of classes and the need to learn to use them to their fullest

I remember DICE initially talking about vehicles and how teamplay was really emphasized, and being pleasantly surprised how well they pulled that off. The Condor and the Super Hind are some of the most fun vehicles in the game, but are only effective with a group of people and a competent pilot. Same goes for stuff as simple as the ATV4, that minigun absolutely shreds and can turn the tide of the fight for an objective if the driver positions the car well.

The only vehicle that really didn't feel very team-oriented was the little bird. There's practically no reason to spawn in that thing as a passenger

BF4 doesn't really do this to the same extent IMO, the only real exception being the attack helis. The large transport choppers do have miniguns...but they're usually ineffective in my experience.

Ground vehicles too feel very driver oriented to me in BF4, I feel like being a tank gunner in 2042 felt a lot more purposeful

So I got the beta on my PC and I'm having some weird issues that I can't find online. I'm using a PS4 controller and it just randomly looks straight up into the sky like every 10sec. Even if I don't touch the controller. It does it on all 3 of my PS4 controllers which work fine in other games. It's extremely frustrating and makes the game unplayable. Also the control icons don't remap to PS4 just show Xbox icons. Has anyone heard of this issue?

An intentional bug in BF4 which bothers me to this day. Some soldier camos in third person model have missing parts. Here is what I found:
US - Default camo (OEF-CP/MultiCam), Chocolate Chip and Tiger Stripe don't have torso parts for Assault and Support class.
Russia - Partizan camo doesn't cover Recon class's pants.
China - Default camo (Type 07 Universal) has pattern in 1st person model but in third person it just dark blue/black uniforms. PLA Naval doesn't cover engineer class torso but has black top with Type 07 Universal camo rig and pants in Naval pattern.
I read the wiki fandom. It said that Type 07 Universal pattern were cut after the Beta because lack of memory storages in consoles. So the Chinese faction left with no choice for woodland camo. Russian faction seems to have no problem but they don't have desert camo. Even in BF3 RU has Surpat camo as default.

The Gameplay for hardline is basically just Battlefield 4 without the bugs

The gunplay feels a little nicer too but it'll take some getting used to and the TTK is fast

It swaps the military setting for a more silly cops vs robbers which is alot of fun (hearing your guy scream "wooooo" because he's on a killstreak)

Here's an idea I'd like to bounce off of anyone for the Class/Specialists issue with gadgets and resource incentive to help teammates:

Keep Gadgets relatively the same in their freedom of use, but highlight which gadget is the most varied for a player to use given a comparison of what their other squad members are using. Then, provide 5 - 10% xp bonuses to the squad/player for using varied gadgets. I think that would keep the freedom to play what anyone wants while still incentivizing coordinated squad play.
