okay, whenever i open bf4 (this happened with bf2042 aswell.) it will ask me for a product code to activate my game on origin. I open the game through steam. I had to delete 2042 and download it on origin to play. But battle field 4 on the other hand, no fix other than wasting like 40-how ever much the game is dollars again on origin for it to work. im not doing that, so does anyone know how to get bf4 to not do this?

There's no more counterplay, there's no real teamwork anymore, you don't know what anyone else is carrying so you can't reliably find allies that carry the shit you need. This kind of uncertainty leads people to play as one-man-armies rather than playing as a team, because when you give everyone the option to use anything, they'll use everything to become the well rounded soldier and contribute nothing. Now all we see is no one packing meds or ammo and everyone packing AA missiles and rockets.

I find the Specialist system to a gamebreaking addition. Hard to tell who is who until that icon pops over their head, no per-faction models to tell who is who quickly. I dislike the simplified loadouts and letting everyone use all guns. Somehow by letting everyone use anything they made the evolution of Battlefield look like a lazy downgrade, because there's no real thought process to classes anymore. No class based equipment so you knew what anyone was carrying, which in turn reduced teamwork and counterplay significantly. Everyone carries launchers in the beta because no one can tell if anyone else is carrying ammo or meds. I actually enjoy the core gameplay of Battlefield 2042 a lot, I just wish this Specialist system simply did not exist and a lot of these issues I think are decently serious would be gone.

People don't like the "Run in gun" yet literally every BF4 online montage was people running and clearing rooms, C4 tricks, jumping out of jets 360 sniper, jump out of jets blow up other jet. That was BF4. They literally took many BF4 style elements from buildings, snipers feel much more similar to BF4 then other recent BF's. They tried to make a similar game with some newer things for newer players. You say it feels terrible at its core what does? The hit reg? You thing that wont be fixed? Say a pistol takes an entire clip + reload on a target standing still when its a 3 bullet kill up close. Everyone talking about the hit reg isn't used to a map this large trying to fight sniper battles with AR's and wondering why the bullet isn't a hitscan gun. This is not all of the guns in the game. Not all of the attachments. Not all of the operators. The operators will be different for Russia vs USA. Likely will have similar abilities for balance though. People gotta stop trippin wait for release and take off the nostalgia goggles. BF4 was crapped on release for not being as good as 3 or bad company. 10 years from now we will hear about battlefield 9 not being as good as 2042.

I would like to see gadgets have longer cool downs personally. I agree with this. I don't mind the custom classes though it doesn't force you into playing things you don't want. Weapon customization should happen in the menu. As nice as the current version is, I can't save presets and always have to customize my weapon after I spawn, sometimes in the middle of the map after changing the firearm.
