And they don't airburst

So you need a direct hit if you want to hit a plane

They do absurd damage when they do land though

nope, just means you have to be in a friendly controlled objective while you get the kills

Any enemy you kill while you sit in your own objective counts as defensive kill.

If you kill an enemy that's in your point while you are outside of it still counts as a defensive kill.
