No, Battlefield at its core is a casual franchise. It's really meant to be more of a game you hop on with a few friends to play in the evenings than it is for competitive play.

Competitive organizations exist, but they're entirely community owned and operated and not really supported by DICE.

in the past two titles DICE did try and make specific modes which didn’t really go anywhere, because mostly the people running comp just want decent server tools
