Though they did design the LMGs around sustained fire, with them getting more accurate the longer they fired.

A halfway decent shot with the right LMG can handle snipers, or at least force them to keep their heads down.

And conversely, any Scout who can aim properly and get a good position can knock out any machine gunner when they're bipoded down.

When bf2042 is out, would it be possible for dice to add ussr, italy, and for some maps a few russian maps like Stalingrad (ussr vs. germany) and for italy a few maps. A few Italian guns like the beretta 1938 and some USSR guns like the nagant revolver and PPSh-41

I believe Vanguard is supposed to be an "What if the war lasted longer" but, unlike most stories of that sort, they're not going in the direction of "muh wunderwaffe"

yes and no. firestorm was way better due it's essentially bfv's excellent gunplay, vehicle play and gameplay + battle royale. Camper hiding in a house in warzone? tough luck. in bfv, you can just blow up his house to draw him out. it felt incredibly well. the map is also really well designed and still managed to feel real compared most BRs where it is obvious it's made out of several ideas/maps turned into one stuff. but the problem is its player count (might have changed with 60k players now on pc) and that it wasn't supported at all since its launch. it had one large update at chapter 4 that added some extra maps and changed the map and that's it. it should have rotating weapon pools, changing stuff over time and so on.

Its decent. Its basically and M1 Carbine, which itself is good, plus the suppressor. The scope makes it annoying for most people to use though, meaning its pretty situational.

I personally like it, but its also understandably not everyone's first choice

Scope is situational

And by situational I mean sometimes it helps and sometimes you don't see a thing

Plus, it clutters the screen when you're not scoped in, so that can be an issue too

ive only ever used the m3 when i was in scrims for small games modes

large game modes the mag size sucks, and the sight is objectively detrimental, though not TOO bad once you get used to it

the reason i used it for scrims was because the TTK and range on it is way better than the pistol carbines, playing vs other sweats those differences are huge
