Hey, quick question: I’m on BF4 on PS5. Everytime I’m about to join a game it says “you have lost connection to the session” and I will press okay and it will say “joining session” indefinitely. All other Battlefield games from last Gen work fine without issue (haven’t tried Hardline). BF4 even worked when I first got the console back in April. I’m not sure what the issue is here.

Ok. Thats true what you added here. I went on to play battle field 4 online and can you imagine I am the only person waiting and waiting for other players to connect? I just decided to give up on it. Truth be told alot of persons are mostly on Warzone. Battlefield servers are dead to me. I know for sure without any doubt battlefield 2042 resurrect back the vibes.

(BFV): Does anyone have any opinions on which is the best overall airplane for each side? With overall i mean the plane which can be adapted to use in the most situations, perhaps both bombing and in air-to-air combat. gunplay isn't as nice as bfv though. i prefer bfv's maps too, but that's up to preference. bf1 maps are much better for linear and smaller modes due they funnel players towards chokepoints and more meatgrinder experiences more. they're great for infantry play. while bfv feel more sandboxy for all vehicles and have better flanking routes to get around heavily contested areas. the downside is that if you're starting out it can feel overwhelming as it can feel enemies come from all sides 😦 while in bf1 that's much less the case as enemy approaches are more predictable

In BF5 they are everywhere, ranging from not being able to spawn to your tank scope giving you a full black screen every second time you use it. In BF1 if a tank sat in an empty field you could easily counter it with such things as the anti-tank rocket gun, the mortar, the anti-tank ammunition, the launchable grenades etc. In BF5, every anti tank weapon is made specifically for being close to the target, which is virtually impossible to do unless you can flank it undisturbed, and that's something no skilled tank driver would allow. BF1 just has so much more cq combat, and the weapons actually feel useful, since you use them all the time. in BF5 the only things you pick that matter are the sniper rifle, and the tank or plane. in BF1 tanks are very powerful in close-quarters, since most anti tank weapons aren't meant for that, yet they have difficulties crossing the space due to their speed being historically accurately very low, and their guns' accuracy being horrible. In BF5 tanks are very powerful on all ranges, from far to middle to short. They have no problems getting close to you, for ex. the puma or the other wheelie. Battlefield 1 just feels more skill-based since it depends more on quick-thinking and aiming skills, while in BF5 it's just a contest of who has a tiger and who a sherman, and who doesn't have one at all.

First thing: Bugs. Bugs were a pretty notable issue back when BFV came out, and there still a decent amount in the game. However, lets not pretend like BF1 was bug free either. I went back to BF1 with some friends for a while, and honestly encountered more serious bugs on average in BF1 than I do in BFV nowadays, revive bugs being a frequent and annoying experience.
