When 6.2 dropped they enabled progression in community games and that made people run their own servers

so if you are debating between 1 and 4, i personally would probably choose BF1. there is a problem with BF4s vehicle balancing, the vehicles are just stupidly overpowered sometimes. but pure infantry combat on TDM servers is actually quite fun in BF4, if you are looking for a game where you need alot of skill to get good, then go for BF4, if you want a more balanced and easier experience, go for BF1
