Yes, its easier to hit shots, but you also have to aim for the head if you want a one-shot kill since theres no sweet spot, which the average player I've met can't really do super consistently

I think it might be somewhat of an availability heuristic, we generally notice the shots that hit us more consistently than the ones that miss, so you may think people are hitting you more than they're missing you
Either that or you're talking about your personal experience with sniping, in which case it sounds like you're just generally a good sniper and the game's rewarding you for that

Classes are Assault, Engineer, Support (which doubles as medic), and Recon. Each specialist falls under one of those four classes, and basically is nothing more than a specific gadget they can use and a passive trait.

is you can't really portray realism in a game like battlefield

the bleedout mechanic and if you get shot in the heart or the head you die and can't be revived
then after that's been in circulation for a bit

I bet realism could be achieved through hardcore servers. Like in bf4 the map, ammo count, health count , health regen, and squad spawn are disabled and bullets hurt more.
I always loved the way Squad has a magazine counter, where your leftover bullets after a reload don't go back into your pool, but instead you have a set amount of magazines that will continue to be half empty until you resupply
