I mean...knowing where you're at is step one. Take Flood Zone, for example. Say I'm on C-flag with my back to E-flag. I know there's a building behind me that snipers like to climb up on, so if I start getting shot from that direction, I immediately find cover to block it.

What specifically are you having issues with again? If it's weapon accuracy, use the L85 and AR160 for Assault; UMP-9 for Engi, RPK, RPK-12, and AWS for Support, and the SRR-61 for Recon.

Just my opinion but part of me doesn't understand why DICE bothers with the super small modes. TDM definitely lasts a long while all things considered, but it's nowhere near as popular as Conquest, for example. I mean, shit, even Rush died, and I never thought I'd see the day.

I don't think there's an option to change FOV on console, but there should be on PC. Probably under gameplay or video settings.

Thankfully, you can change your FOV on BFV on console, so I'd assume you'll be able to on BF2042 as well, which is a godsend.

I'm making a list of why i think that is, and for now i have gunplay, sandbox, lack of vehicles (there aren't nearly as many as there were in 4), restrictive map design, and i think that's it

Do you guys also notice how the objectives in 1 feel a lot more choke point heavy then in 4? Yeah, i think that's because the maps don't let you approach these objectives in as many ways as in 4, where you had helicopters, jets, fucken yeet pads and what not

Not completely true. BF4 MilSim server settings are usually 30% player health, 300% bullet damage (basically one-shot). Guns and kit are restricted to the countries/branch/units your team simulates.
