When Battlefield 2: Modern Combat came out in 2005, I had to have been 7 years old playing Battlefront II, Crash Bandicoot 2, Destroy All Humans, True Crime, Fantastic Four on a GBA, The Wind Waker, Mario Party 7, The Sims on every console, MADDEN 2004, Halo 2, and a lot of Mario.

So I wouldn't know what the game was like myself, but seeing this game being recorded back in 2006 and put on YouTube is very nostalgic.

It's common logic a new game is going to take most of a playerbase away from the previous. This complaining about dead servers never makes sense to me, because only Modern Combat and those Chinese censorship treatment two games no one knows about have dead servers.
