Speaking of which, I saw someone bitching about BF2042 again on Reddit (surprise, surprise) and they said that they don't like the revive animation of BFV and prefer BF4 paddles because they're instant, and I'm just sitting there like... The times I've been revived in BF4 only to be shot again is countably infinite. The times that's happened in BFV I could probably count on one or two hands. The revive animation actually helps you get a medic that isn't fucking stupid.

I'm sure the customization is gunna be good (it's EA after all, monetization is their thing), so I'm not too worried about everyone looking the same (as if they don't already look the same anyway, let's be real here).

What I am worried about is the unlocked gadgets. Primaries I'm not too worried, in fact I actually like that since people just picked the class with the weapon they wanted, but unlocked gadgets just makes me go eeeeehhh...

I prefer the revive animation over the paddles, but I hope it has been tweaked to be a bit less immersion breaking

Yeah BFV has a glitch where sometimes it will just skip the revive thing and boot you to the map

Yeah the squad revives are ridiculous. "Hang on, man! I'm coming! I know you were just blown the fuck away by a tank shell but lemme just grab your hand and you'll be right as rain!"
