I'm going through all of the Battlefields in order of release. I have been through "Battlefield 1942" and "Battlefield Vietnam". I have been through the base version of "Battlefield 2".

The actual question:
If I continue to follow the series in release date order, "Battlefield 2: Modern Combat" released on consoles before "Battlefield 2" released it's first Expansion Pack which is "Special Forces". Should I instead finish up "Battlefield 2" and only do "Battlefield 2: Modern Combat" after I went through the Expansion Packs of "Battlefield 2", or just continue this weird interference of another game released after it's parent title?
