Take the MG-42, for example. If it had functionally worked the same as Battlefield 1, theres two real ways it could've gone. One, the MG-42 is absolutely broken and becomes a run and gun powerhouse with the ability to ADS alongside its IRL firerate. Or, conversely...we end up with the CoD WW2 MG-42, feeling like a shell of what it actually was
