That's what holds BF back IMO. It want's to be more serious than COD but it won't commit to the role for fear of alienating certain demographics. But in trying to appeal to the maximum size audience it ends up feeling souless and without a core. I feel like they send out these surveys and ask people what they want and then they put in some half arsed implementation of it just to tick a box. BFV Practice range is a great example. ~4 vehicles, no classes, no customization on weapons or vehicles. Purely there so they could claim they included a PR.
