i think what bfv's atmosphere failed to do was that they left all these broken and burnt monuments outside the playable zone making them more of a background scenery rather than something that players can go into but also worked in favour of great gunplay options
while in bfv they had those things in the playable area but at the same time it was so overdone that sometimes it could be hard on the gunplay
