you know how when you keep your finger on the stick it might accidentally move the stick a little? deadzone makes it so you can opt that it won't move when you do small nudges. if you increase the deadzone, it will take more force before the stick will do its input, decrease the deadzone and you'll need to do less force before the stick registers input
