More players is always a good thing. There's more active servers than ever before now. It's funny though seeing newb mistakes again, like tankers abandoning their tanks because they don't know how to repair or resupply. 
I think that's a sign that DICE really should have a mandatory tutorial before playing multiplayer in the next game.

Hmm, I see. I guess the best way would be to show us some of your gameplay footage, and we can provide constructive feedback.
In general though, I usually point people towards The Broken Machine's YouTube tutorials. He gives really good general purpose advice that I think works in most Battlefield games.
He plays on PlayStation too, so he even has tips on controller sensitivities and such.
