I'm more worried they might not implement some cool next-gen features at all, neither in last-gen nor current-gen (nor PC) because of parity with last-gen and then not wanting to spend resources on maintaining vastly different versions of the game.
Kinda like how the ballistic shield in BF4 was meant to be usable with your secondary weapon but XB360 couldn't handle it due to lack of RAM so PC wouldn't get it either :|
