I think battlefield 5 failed to hit the mark on both the public and casual gamers, aswell as the hardcore fans.
Like from what i know, the gameplay is more fast paced and higher TTK than bf1, which appeals to the fans, but not so much the casual gamer.
But they got in all the shit features such as redundant animations, SJW skins, etc. Which doesnt appeal to the fans.
