First of all. The equipment used in BF1 is ABSOLUTELY the most EXAGGERATED use of technology in WW1 ever. The train rail cannons moving like that. Every single optic you see practically. Which btw the Germans were known for using optics, most of the other factions did not have optics of their own.

BF1 was massively historically inaccurate and if you think it was more accurate than BFV, you’re wrong. They did the same level of inaccuracy, they just made a BF game with a WW1 and WW2 skin. THE TANKS ALONE, are absolutely fake in BF1. They never had that much armor, they never had that movement capability and they also barely had the fire power that is shown in that game.
