I doubt they would, but it all depends how much money they put into making separate textures and removing a lot of things to make the game run on old consoles. Battlefield has previously limited the map size and player-count from PC to consoles in the past.

It does minimal ‘even out of players’ in BFV and only random in terms of numbers. Three squads can join a server together and usually spend hours playing on the same team together.
Auto-balance would be where the server reviews the balance of teams (in terms of performance) at the end of each round then make a better match where necessary e.g. if top 4 scoring squads on one team it might put squads #1 & #4 on one team and squads #2 & #3 on the other
