And from what I read from developers, they will put reload speed balance into consideration before any aesthetic realism. For example, the Lebel's reload is intentionally incorrect to make the reload process faster than the real gun (based on what I read, I've never reloaded a real Lebel).

I think you can first disconnect from internet, and then launch the game with your internet off.
Then you reconnect internet and press reconnect in game
