They both have good and bad qualities. However, BF1's playerbase is rather inconsistent at this point, so I can't honestly recommend it anymore. However, you should be able to find both for relatively cheap, so if you can find BF1 as well as BFV, it can't hurt to get both. My personal recommendation is BFV between the two.
