Tanks are just weird in BFV. I swear I've put 3 sticky dynamite on the back of one and shot a panzerfaust up its tailpipe and done like 30 damage. Other times I feel I've done like 33 damage with a single panzerfaust. The damage seems inconsistent as hell. Or maybe I'm just bad, so I just stay away from tanks unless extreme numerical superiority.

Ok, so with the Mk. VB, you've got effectively two options, a dogfighting spec and a ground attack spec. Ground attack has 8 rockets which are pretty decent all-rounders. Both specs have twin .50 cals, but the dogfighting spec replaces the hispano MG's with quad .303's (like the VA's but a bit weaker). The dogfighting spec has a faster repair and a maneuverability upgrade, but the ground attack spec has a nitro boost (non manual).

Some of the BFV maps are great and some are just too open IMO. Like I know it's battlefield and big maps are a thing, but I feel big maps in past Battlefields were broken up visually and with physical geometry better in the past.

panzerstorm becomes much better when you start utilizing the transport vehicles that spawn at every cap as infantry. same with al sundan etc. they're made like classic 1942 maps where you HAD to use vehicles to get around

Iwo Jima is good example of an open map with tons of cover and well distributed geographical diversity.

only map i truly despise is aerodrome. too much meatgrinder stuff at hangar and go outside and you'll just get sniped.

One thing that I never understood though. Why is Wake Island the gametype Conquest Assault when Iwo Jima is regular Conquest? I feel both make a ton more sense as Conquest Assault.

Iwo jima is more regular conquest bc american forces had already landed and have some of the island while the Japanese have the other half
