Reviving in Battlefield V is less buttons and keys than in Battlefield 4 and 1. In Battlefield 4 one had to swap to the defibrillator. That is one button press or key. Then they had to press the fire button or key on PC. Hold if one wants to revive to full health. Same in Battlefield 1 except replace the defibrillator with the Medical Syringe. In Battlefield V it’s one button press or key. X on Xbox One. No holding to revive to full health. Less complicated.

Battlefield V’s ping is a return to Battlefield’s roots. In Battlefield 1942 pressing an F key would ping. In later games different F keys would ping different dangers so if one wanted to they could say they spotted a destroyer in the middle of the map. If one was not looking at danger the ping would be a question mark.

if you look at the game information for a lobby in the server browser you can see all the maps

generally speaking, tactical is for more infantry focus with some vehicle support so smaller maps that can be traversed on foot, and strategic has more of a focus on vehicles and sprawling open maps which aren’t so great for infantry to move around on

i think they share a couple of maps like Arras so that’s sort of your comparison - bigger than Arras it’s probably strategic, smaller it’s tactical

Hello, i consider buying battlefield v because i just want to play BF again.

After reading some Steam reviews i am not sure anymore if it is worth buying. Because there are so many reviews about cheaters, some say you see one in every second game who ruins the whole round, is this true?

I can live with a cheater all 10 games or so... but if it is that worse...

Would like to hear some real comments about this.

Its just that the cannons actually hurt the pilot more than the plane itself

the explosive 50 cal you can get on one of the blenheims was doing very well even against bf109s in a couple of matches for me a while ago

I tap fire the cannons not just because of accuracy but because of how little ammo it has

But there so good once you're accurate and can lead well

then usually switch to MGs once they start moving less predictably

V's TTK isn't really from the raw DPS (Looking at you BF hardline with the 3 shot 700rpm FAL) but more from the fact that guns can now be more reliably controlled due to very low spread
