Battlefield V’s ping is not spotting and is a return to Battlefield’s roots. In Battlefield 1942 pressing an F key would ping. In later games different F keys would ping different dangers so if one wanted to they could say they spotted a destroyer in the middle of the map. If one was not looking at danger the ping would be a question mark.

Battlefield 1's gunplay is sluggish (and even RNG-based to an extent), not to mention incredibly stiff and (once again) sluggish movement mechanics. Not to mention the fact that vehicles like the Mortar Truck and Ilya Muromets (as well as the attack plane) exist. Graphically and atmospherically its the best, but thats about the only place it truly excels.

Now, it does an excellent job in creating suspension of disbelief, which is one of its strongest points, but at the same time causes this overlook

you'd first have to cap objectives that had this missle launchers that would shoot at the cruisers, once the cruiser had taken enough damage you could board it which then played like Rush (without the limited tickets)
