I honestly can't recommend BF1 anymore just because of population issues. It really depends on your region, you'll probably have better luck in some regions than others. However, I was recently on BF1 around midday on US East servers and was seriously having trouble finding populated servers. The game itself is fun, yes, but the population issues are a serious concern I feel that I need to bring up before recommending it.
