bf1 spread based mechanics are hard limiting on skill, you are forced to tap to even be close to accurate at range, bfv lets you learn a gun to actually use it at any range as long as your aim is good enough, though bullet dmg drop off will usually give the edge to a gun that specializes at a certain range
