Played the BFV campaign prologue for kicks; discovered a bug during the plane part where the game thinks you're out of bounds.

When the timer runs out you simply eject, fall, die, revive immediately in mid-air, and then it fixes itself when the camera cuts to the bombers.

It was pretty funny.

I did see a video afterwards but for the guy I watched, it never fixed itself

So here it goes, for those who didn't have unlocked them already: First, join a Paracell Storm conquest map, and get hit by the lightning in the wind turbine. To trigger the levolution very fast, cap all the objetives, and then wait on the wind turbine. (In most servers, you'll need at least 4 people on the server to start the match!). After get hit by the lightning, go the the leaning tree close to the E point, where there are some birds, climb backwards, untill you see the light on the water, then shot it, so the UFO will come and will start to use the light beam to search for the megalodon. By this point, you already unlocked the camo, BUT, you need to wait the map to finish, so, enjoy the rest of the easter egg. So, after the UFO dives in the watter, a few seconds latter, the megalodon will appear jumping, like it does in the Nansha Strike map. It's done, when the match ends, you can leave, and when you enter any server again, the camo will be there, Congrats

The type 2a is all you need for hipfire. The grease gun is also very good

if you're at medium to longer range i can recommend the jungle carbine

the carbine is good but a lot less forgiving then something like the grease gun. Grease gun i think has a little bit of everything. Cbq is great medium its like perfect and long range you can still get some good range kills with it. Not like a sniper or the jungle carbine but you can definitely get damage down rnage with it

you can improve certain stats as you level it up t level 4, since you unlock different specialisations which change stuff like recoil control, reload speed etc

past level 4 you dont get anything new that would change performance (other than in a couple of cases a different style of iron sight with the mint/gold skins, but thats negligible)

I think the general consensus is that BFV as a game is great; if only there was more of it.

In my discussion with that guy on what BFV did wrong compared to BF1, I was watching both reveal trailers again. I think to summarize BFV's issue with its reveal trailer is that it feels like a "performance" than an actual showcase of what the game feels like.

I also feel like from a critical perspective, it was just a poorly directed trailer. The constant organic first person camera wasn't quite nauseating, but my eyes felt uncomfortable. The action is also just too messy and I was never sure who was who, like when the "player" shoots a soldier among a group of soldiers and then just kind of— ignores the rest of them and immediately reloads?

And then it seems that the player's team is maybe the Germans but they are also speaking in British accents?

And then you look at BF1's reveal trailer and it's just a spectacle, and everything in the trailer is in the game. Maybe embellished a bit or acted out, but it's all there.

It's immediately recognizable as WWI, even if you have a whole squad of Germans wielding BARs in game.

I think quite a few people would have not been fully confident what era the BFV trailer takes place in until the camera takes a closer look at the weapons or until the Churchills roll in.

I've tried playing BF4 recently, and the movement and gunplay just feels off, and I don't know exactly how to describe what's wrong.

It's like your player doesn't quite do what you expect them to do based on the input you give.

Dang it this turned into a writeup. I like to draw connections between things, and the contrast to both game's performances is a convenient subject.
