The IFV's MR missiles ignore aircraft countermeasures when fired at laser designated aircraft.
The pilot receives no [INCOMING] HUD warning, no sound, cannot countermeasure them in any way and is killed in one hit every time, leading to very one-sided one-shot-kill scenarios.
This was an issue in Battlefield 2042 when the Bradley IFV was introduced, around 9 months ago. It appears that some code regression caused it to reappear.

Bad company 2 was the best one they made. The campaign was great, the characters had personality and random conversations, they felt like real people, the online was great, it took less head shots to kill , the maps were great , the onslaught coop mode and Vietnam DLC was amazing, and the destructability was better than any battlefield since. There was no scripted levolution. The only thing you could not destroy completely was the connex boxes, it’s a shame that they never made a continuation of the campaign and multiplayer keeping all the bad company 1 and 2 maps and modes and then adding to them. That game would sell great. The only negative of bad company 2 was it didn’t have the ability to prone

You do understand BC2 came out 3yrs before BF4? Anything about "levelution" is irrevelant to that matter.
The Vietnam dlc was a remake of BF Vietnam shrunk into a DLC.
It didn't have prone because Bad Company was made for console users that needed simpler controls. BC2 had a pc version but it was more like a port than actual pc game, BC1 was console only.

Yeah, with the exception of hardline I’ve owned every battlefield since modern combat, bad company 2 in my opinion is the best, I would love a bad company 3 in the same vein, ps3 controller was the last console controller with sensitive face buttons, they could have easily made prone a hold, socom did it in 2002 with 1 button being tap for crouch and hold for prone

I didn’t get a pc till about 5 years ago, so on console back then, it was fun. The infantry combat was lacking, similar with bad co 1.

You are correct, my mistake, honestly I should have said, IMO it’s the best one since its release , I played bf3&4 a lot but always liked bad co2 better, the story also ended on a cliffhanger that the Russians invaded Alaska

I still miss BF2 SF with the mobility shenanigans of zip lines and grappling hooks. At least 6 feels slightly better than 2042 gameplay wise even with DICEs servers being unplayable requesting 500% CPU while exceeding recommend specs. Guess DICE got to DICE.

Do it! 😉 it's old in every way but good. You need to find a decent server... because punkbuster doesn't work anymore, lot hack servers in the list. But I'm founder at First-legion, we have our own anti hack/cheat program running on the server, also lost soldiers is still running and does a lot against cheating. If u need help u can visit one of them and they are glad to help you to get back in game! 🥰

Our comments section continues to be overwhelmed with concerns about the state of Middle East servers for Battlefield 6, particularly the issue of players across all platforms encountering Bots instead of real players.
Despite being in the NA region, I tested this by joining players from Jordan, Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia, and found that approximately 95% of the server populations consist of Bots. This is surprising, given that Battlefield 6 ranked among the top five best-selling games on the PlayStation Store (Alone) in Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
Additionally, Alinea Analytics' recent data shows that Saudi Arabia accounts for over 3% of BF6 players on PlayStation.
Furthermore, a recent “We’ve tested the Battlefield 6 beta to identify all available server locations so you can connect to the closest and fastest server.”
It’s unclear why players are not being properly funneled into the official dedicated servers in Bahrain.
Some players are exploring alternative solutions, but this is unsustainable. It’s frustrating for players to log in and spend minutes filtering game modes just to find a match with real players.
We truly hope to hear a respond to acknowledge these concerns and at least provide some assurance that they are being addressed. We will do out absolute best to convey your response as we always do with every communication

2.Reset filter (important since otherwise the old filter settings will remain)
3.Under free slots select the following: none, 1-5, 6-10 and 10+
4.Under full filter you can select the preferred region (EU, Americas and Asia are the most populated)

When bf4 was in its peak, most users had premium and we were running xp boosters constantly. I still have like 100x 25% boosters lol. Most guns were unlocked via challenges, or coop missions. Never really felt like it took forever, but they did also just naturally come with time as you played more.
However, now its probably a bit harder as the playerbase is so much smaller.

Im not sure if the Devs are aware that the drone is being used to teleport players on top of skyscrapers. But players have been spotted and known for using the drone to ride up to a certain altitude and then parachute onto the roof of high rise buildings that are unreachable and sometimes even impossible to snipe them off. Battlefield 6 and 2042:
Both of these games have crossplay so you can play with consoles, so my numbers can and will be inaccurate for both of these games, but they are newer so people should be playing them
Battlefield 3, Battlefield 4, and Battlefield Hardline:
Both of these have issues with punkbuster kicking you, to fix this, go to evenbalances website and download pbsetup.exe to update punkbuster
Battlefield 4 and Battlefield 1:
Use the server browser on pc, matchmaking is awful and never works (especially for BF4)
Battlefield 3 and Battlefield Hardline:
Battlelog is still required for these 2, which opens your web browser, this is normal and is part of the games, unfortunately its pretty bad
Battlefield Bad Company 2:
Bad Company 2 requires a service called Project Rome to work after the server shutdown, Project Rome is easy to install, just requiring a single dinput8.dll file inside your game files to work, you do need to create an account though seprate from ea, you can also transfer your stats from the official servers and console servers on their website, please note it will not save your login for some reason
Battlefield 2142:
The main way to get this game to work is through something called BF2142 Hub, this app will require you to download the "Reclamation Map Pack" and both the v1.50 and v.1.51 updates from moddb for the game to work, you will also need to create an account i think, password saving works on this game
Battlefield 2:
BF2Hub is the main application you will need for this game, just make an account, and use the BF2Hub launcher to patch your game exe, for some reason password saving also wont work here, there is a hud fix for ultrawide users if you look at PCGamingwiki
Battlefield Vietnam:
The game may require fixes to boot, it has no login but has issues with widescreen, it also has a strange bug where the gun will become stretched when firing on widescreen monitors, the server ip also needs to be manually added
Battlefield 1942:
You will need to download a gamespy patch for this one to play online, it requires no account and is the easiest of the refractor games
i personally wouldnt bother with 2142 or vietnam, since they are dead

Since I've been providing unofficial support in this channel for older BF titles, for a while now I'd recommend getting the revolution edition on EA app as well when it's on sale, goes for 2 $
There are some people who have issues when getting BF through steam since it requires the EA app as well, wait for a sale and grab it there so you don't have issues with progress etc.
I have all BF titles on EA app, former origin since BF games weren't on steam from around 2009-2020

Oh boy, so I went back to Battlefield V today after some weeks playing Battlefield 6, and I must say, the movement, the audio, the mechanics, the gameplay, the cinematics, well, the entire game is a cinematic scene tbh. It feelt so refreshing to lay down, calmly as a sniper on Pacific Storm, and just see the wind blow thru the palm trees, the airplanes fighting in the distance trying to avoid the AA gunner. That game will forever be one of the best, most cinematic, WW2 games of all times. Period.

My solution is just close the error and start again then it works usually

If you want to redemm codes on EA app it won't work, you have to install it from the old disks and play it like that, there was an option a few years ago but since older titels got removed from the store it won't work
the benefit of playing from older disks is you don't rely on EA's network, BF 2 uses BFhub

Best campaigns in BF are BC2, BF 3 and BF 1 and BF 4, BF V can be decent in terms of campaign (last tiger mostly)
Now regarding multiplayer we'll go with population in multi, BF 1, BF V and BF 4 are the most populated, BF 3 has the lowest population but there are still quite a few servers running, I'd wait for a sale and grab them all for around 2 $ each
You could also pay for an EA play subscription atm, around 5$ a month and test all BF games and then buying them during a sale

this will show you all servers in the world

so you can check here how many players are on in each region but from what I see Australia is pretty much dead, your only options are Asia, EU and NA (only couple of servers)
lately the server numbers went down hard even in EU, used to have 50+ but when I played yesterday there were only like 23

well best thing you can do is go to server browser and press reset
then under free slots select: none, 1-5, 6-10 and 10+ this show you all servers in the world, decide which ping is best for you
