You may be able to just disable the overlay for afterburner while playing the game. That's usually the problem

Today we've rolled out a backend server fix which includes additional progression changes for the Road to Battlefield 6 event on Battlefield 2042.

Mini Notes as follows:

◽️ Week 3 had unintended token amounts and have now been corrected with the following:
◾️Tier 1 - 3 Tokens now 4 Tokens
◾️Tier 2 - 4 Tokens now 5 Tokens
◾️Tier 3 - 5 Tokens now 6 Tokens

◽️ Alongside the previously announced increase of more Double XP weekends taking place and the final two weeks featuring weekends with Triple XP players will now have additional tokens for future weeks as follows:

◾️Tier 1 - 4 Tokens now 5 Tokens
◾️Tier 2 - 5 Tokens now 6 Tokens
◾️Tier 3 - 6 Tokens now 7 Tokens

◽️ Players will now also have 4 hours of additional Double XP activated upon logging into the game.

I've been only playing BF1 to wait for BF6, and gosh this game is painful to play at times

My main pet peeves are

  1. Suppression and bloom is dialed to 11, even if the enemy is fucking 15 meters in front of you, you'll still miss if you're getting suppressed or if you fire too fast consecutively
  2. People love to spam gas grenade and smoke grenade, and they're so annoying AF, smoke grenade especially because it literally puts a layer of grey with opacity going to like 80% or something and after you have exited the smoke, the opacity still remains at 80% and it slowly decrease to 0% taking like 4 seconds to do, absolute ass
  3. When you strafe, your gun wobbles and your front sight and rear sight are misaligned significantly and as such you could move a tiny bit to the left and suddenly instead of shooting someone in the head, you're shooting them in the chest

Hello. Im having issues with Battlefield 1 , specifically launching the game. I've installed Bf1 again , and after installing , i wanted to play but when i start the game , it just closes.

I have it on Steam , i made an account on the EA app, ive ran both EA app and BF1 as administrators , reinstalled ea acnticheat , restarted my PC and nothing.
Then , it didnt stop on launching the game. The game showed me the BATTLEFIELD 1 startup screen. And it slowly started to boot up , the white line was filli ng up , and when it got to the end , bam , my PC shows the Bluescreen, it says that eaanticheat.sy failed. So i completely reinstalled the anticheat , the EA app and restarted my PC. Tried again , and again but still it comes to the same outcome , blue screen. So i gave up , this was yesterday.
I tried fixing it this morning , but again , my PC crashes.

If anyone can help , please do.

I've been playing Battlefield 1 on the PS5 for a month or so now. I'm terrible. But, the past week to week and a half, I can't get into a single game without 300+ ping. I think this is the only game really impacted by this. I'm in NA and can only find a couple NA servers and a handful of German ones. Almost every server is listed as yellow or red but occasionally I see a NA one with green but it's immediately around 300 ping when I join. Any way to figure out how to make this issue less annoying?

Well if you have those on and haven't selected a region then you should see all servers world wide, it's important though to select ''none'' under free slots as this will sho you the full server where you can queue up

Hard to say what the situation is on consoles for BF 1 but I keep hearing that there aren't a lot of servers, on PC game is thriving, EU and Asia have the highest player counts, NA is on the lower side, join us on PC 😉

Only tip if I can give you to eliminate all unlucky options is to download prior to the windows install the drivers for the mobo before, install windows without internet (pull the plug), once windows is on install drivers

then let windows update and install EA app and then BF 3

i mean if you cant get good at sniping in bf1 idk what to tell you its easily the strongest sniping has been in any battlefield between the clunky automatic/semi automatic weapons making it damn near impossible to kill you at range and the sweet spot making sniping even MORE stronger plus the high bullet velocity

You just gotta watch out for it. If you're an elite people will try to bayonet charge you because it is easily the most effective way to take down elite classes since it's a guaranteed one shot and every weapon has bayonets in bf1

So wanted to know if anyone else is having issues with Battlefield 1 where I get errors such as "there's a problem with your game install" or "activate game". The only way I've found to fix this is by repairing the game and temp install a different game and cancel it, then it just works normally.

But I have to do this every time I want to play Battlefield 1, I don't have this issue with Battlefield 5 or 2042. Any suggestions?

it's an odd one- presents as an inability to connect to EA servers when launching BF1. I've done everything that I could think of, or that EA suggested, to no avail. What struck me as quite odd is the other day, I had my brother sign into my PC with his EA account, and he was able to connect without issue, which leads me to believe it's an account issue? My account shows no bans though, and all the other BF games work fine?

Also strange, if I launch BF4 via the launcher and not Battlelog, then toggle to BF1 in the launcher, I can connect and see the server browser, my stats, etc, but I can't join any games and it tells me to launch via BF1 instead.

Honestly, engineer at its peak just comes down to being quick with getting the repair tool out(keeping it out most of the time when in an aerial or water), and not letting it overheat(as it stops you from quick repairs during cooldown).

Other than that, make sure you are equipped to possibly do some anti-vehicle work if you are not actively aiding an aerial, ground or water vehicle.

Did like V, but by February (November launch) was fairly over it and the playerbase. Left with some ridiculous high KD and not really enjoying it. Ended up falling into Squad a bit later and delving deep in, actually getting support on objective and it being about communication and teamwork completely 😌 so good after the initial learning curve. Not having to sweat, just do your part

Well they added few things i was shocked about to game after beta like Ladder u can use 2 ways climb or walk over a trench or gap and the sludge hammer to knock down buildings witch fucking sick

roughly a year ago I was having some issues with BF 1 and decided to install it on my old PC (I7 2600k, 32GB RAM 2133MHz and a GTX 1080), performance was worse than I remembered, I think the reason for this is the new EA anti cheat and windows 10 being patched, although on that machine I used windows 7 back then

only thing I can recommend if you don't plan upgrading the hardware is to put everything on the lowest settings and see if you get the FPS back

Is anyone else having issues with bfv on Amd cards? first i got the error of "detected drivers is 0.0.0" so i used ddu to uninstall and clean install my gpu drivers (currently on 25.9.1) and the issue persisted, so i disabled my integrated graphics drivers and now i have the issue of "launch the game from your distribution platform" which is steam for me and I'm launching from steam?

Did that, I've been waiting almost 2 months now.

Not even a "we are currently reviewing your ticket."

My proof is still ambiguous since the time span between the account being taken, the hacking, and me discovering the situation is about 2 years, and I didn't have any notice from EA. I found out when I bought BF1, and there was a Steam account that was already linked to my account. I still have those emails. I also had save files from Fallen Order in Russian, but I found that out in 2023 before I tried fixing my bfvhackers score.

So instead of giving each Battlefield title its own dedicated channel for its fanbase, the mods lumped them all into a generic “legacy titles” tab.

Trust dice employees to cut corners even when the job is to press 3 buttons… It’s not that hard to set up a channel per game and avoid diluting the chat like this.
