I think i got it. Whenever i launch msi afterburner, it launches Rivatuner with it.

just turn off "on screen display" from rivatuner it should be fine.

Ever since BF6 open beta ended, I've played BF4/1/V

BF4 is really showing its age, 1 is still king, V is a circus show as always

There's something about BFV that just feels odd, like the sprinting animations of other player characters, and how no one carries any backpack, like I'm shooting at mini-people, not actual full size human beings, something just feels off

The mouse aiming in BF1 didn't feel right to me so after some digging I found the problem. There is a deadzone set by default for the mouse and once it's gone the game feels normal again.

Go to documents\battlefield 1\settings\

open PROFSAVE_profile_synched in a text editor (make a backup first if you are worried about what changing these settings does, that way you can easily replace the file if you don't like the difference)

The first 2 lines are about deadzone and aren't at 0. Set them both to 0 and the game controls much better.

Honestly, HL = 1 for me

1 is the best looking and best feeling, but HL has some of the best gunplay in the series, the most unique and fun gamemodes in the series, and only has like 1 bad map

I think most playing BF4 have been playing a long time so will be harder to get started. Just staying with your squad and learning the weapons and classes is the main thing

BF3 and 4 assault was also medic so I’d just stick to that for a while to get the basics down and you will have the best weapons as well

I just wanted to ask if there is a possiblity that you guys / DICE / EA could make African regions available for renting custom servers in Battlefield 1.

We are a dedicated African comunity that plays BF1 almost every week but only having EU options available is very frustrating, we love the game and it would be incredible if we can use local custom servers

the reason you can't use them is because you are playing on back 2 basics servers, in order to use all weapons in operations do the following:
1.Use Server browser
2.Reset filter (important since otherwise the old filter settings will remain)
3.Under free slots select the following: none, 1-5, 6-10 and 10+
4.Under full filter you can select the preferred region (EU, Americas and Asia are the most populated)
5.Every step is important!

Well it will depends on the weapon you're using but I've taken down cavalry with fedorov and howell, some times you might have to switch to your pistol to finish them off

@onyx mural YES, pretty sure where the AH and the Artie glitch Artillery gun is the first spawn during Rush.. Lush green field separate the spawn to a farmhouse and barn are 1st Mcons, then rotates right to a small town area. I also remember a train depot. There were a couple great large BC maps.

Getting blown up by a plane that’s already in the air before you make it off the runway is one of the most miserable things to experience, because now you’re down a plane and you feel like crap. .

In BF3 where jet fighting peaked was at its best, the jets spawned at base run ways. It was a tactic by those that owned the air to stop reinforcements by targeting those jets on runways from getting back in the air. Those pilots stuck on the ground had to (through use of stingas and base AA) fight them off for clear skies. It was all part of their skill set. Bring back the runways I say.

I started on Og xbox, BF2MC choppa pilots and rocketed up Little Bird were the most dominant vehicles ever to grace a video game. There was no AA, no Stinga lock ons, you could only RPG or 120mm shell as choppas were reigning fire circling your base from the outset. This slowed your tanks jeeps, choppas from getting up the map, and eventually harder to contest flags with no reinforcements so you got pushed back in your base eventually. When that happened you could barely make it out of your respawn tents as your only grace was an RPG to take them out. The Little birds rockets rate of fire was near constant and they were far more manoeuvrable than any other BF. So yeah I know the issues with spawn/base r#ping. DICE have provided lock on missiles and AA resources at base to deal with this. If they lose air then they should expect to be under attacks from air superiority on their runways. No hands need to be held.

You have to go into the server browser. You can use the filters there to select your region, game modes, etc. And you can see the ping too.

Sometimes when I try to launch Battlefield V, it starts to boot it up normally but when the start screen shows up the display settings get weird.

Basically it sets my resolution, colors and refresh rate wrongly, even though I have before set them differently in both windows and Battlefield V settings. I can set the colors and resolution back to normal in windows settings but not the refresh rate.

I have tried updating everything and even installed the game again without a fix. Also the game takes a long time to start. This wasn't an issue with my old laptop.

My pc and cables are capable of running the game at max settings. This doesn't happen with other games. I have Windows 11 installed.

Yeah I think those guns are still meta. People use them a lot more than the other weapons. You are definitely going to run into someone with the STG44 or the Type 2A but rarely ever someone with a Breda or a Commando Carbine.

Though I've seen increased usage of the Grease Gun, especially with the Silencer spec. So I guess there are some new metas around?

Man, you'll either see some Chinese guy do speed hacks and aimbot with a Lewis gun or the LAD Machine Gun in possibly almost all DICE's servers, with an account repetitively spamming cheat script advertisement like "kai gua lai bfv" something something to sell exploits. Hella annoying I'd say, since all of the BFV Robots servers are filled to the brim and the other servers are empty as heck.
