It sounds like your resolution is too high for your screen, I recommend googling a way to change the resolution through a config file.

So did they add bots to all the battlefield games or is it just BF1,BF5 and BF2042? The wait times are so much faster and the scoreboard has even amount of teams.
Just wondering if they did a small update with AI. Because I seen videos of Dice and Frostbite working together to program a self learning AI that can fill in empty spaces to keep teams balanced and reduce match wait times.
Also some the player tags look pretty basic like for example "player010101" or "TotallyNotABot123"
I'm not mad if its true but just wondering because I've never gotten this many kills in a match before in BF1.

Bf2/2142 master servers were shut down years ago, so their respective communities came up with workarounds and mods to be able to play online again
Bf1942 should still be playable, will probably find servers that are mixed with bots possibly. Desert combat mod on 1942 still works, but no one plays anymore.

BF1 probably has the worst matchmaking and UI ive ever seen in any videogame ever. 90% of the times you get stuck trying to load in, friends cant join, it doesnt bring the party into matches with you, party members dont have the option to join, and when they do it doesnt even work

That may or may not be functional. They did at one point shift to having to use the bf companion app and thats how i had to do it to get it to change my logo a few years ago. But maybe that changed cuz bf companion app doesn't work anymore.

Yeah BF games are quite CPU heavy, I didn't had any issues until bf v came out and once 2042 came out I had to increase the voltages again
so easiest thing to do disable XMP ( I know it sucks) and see if you have any crashes
second is to update the bios and see if that helps

Might want to check and see if you can play for longer periods of time in my case crashes happened anywhere between 30 min or 3H plus
next step would be to download the latest bios and flash the current one, make sure to not have a power outage during the flash

you can spam q to spot enemies, but that requires you to be looking at one but it is still helpful as you might move your camera and miss an enemy, like just spot them it helps the whole team out. you can also look at the minimap for red markers. gadgets you can use are the spotting flares (it doesnt spot people but it does show them on the minimap) and the trench periscope if you are a scout

I only had the issue in v then in 2042 and as a fix I had to increase the VCCIO and VCCSA voltage a bit, same for the guy he had an undervolt going on (EXPO) so he reverted to stock settings and it worked for him
only thing I can recommend is putting bios to stock settings and testing

It’s a shame Bf3 didn’t get the same treatment as BF4 with the removal of battlelog. That was always a nightmare to use. There was a chrome extension which made it a bit easier but I think that’s been deprecated now so it’s pretty messy to use whenever I’ve tried

Battlelog and Platoons were great IMO. Had a community and an organized way to play with friends. The other part that was cool was the stat tracking. I know some people say it was annoying to use but I had no issues with it in fact I think it’s one of the best things that DICE brought to the BF franchise.

I think the whole point of it was to create a social network for battlefield which I think they accomplished to an extent. It reminded me of how Rockstar created the Social Club for GTA V and for Max Payne 3 and Crews. I get how it can be annoying to jump between a browser and the actual game application though.

BF3 was such a good game back then. Really popular. No in-game transactions for content. If you got premium edition you got all the DLC content included and each drop was full of maps, weapons, new vehicles. I hope BF6 can do that again for the community.

I think it’s cool that they’re beginning to listen to the core BF community more on feedback but I don’t think they should listen to people from other gaming communities outside of BF as much. It’s like they’re trying to make a game for every kind of player base and when you do that you will ultimately fail.
They should’ve stuck with what worked as always. Core conquest gameplay and class based system.
They should definitely take note out of the CoD playbook and see how they’re basically trying to be like Fortnite and how that has ruined CoD now. I’m not a huge CoD fan anymore. The last CoD game I actually spent some real time on was the original Modern Warfare 3 from 2011. When BF3 came out that same year I never really was interested in the CoD franchise any longer.
If DICE and all those other teams manage to do what they did with BF3 back then for BF6. A lot of the CoD playerbase might actually stick to Battlefield and abandon the CoD franchise for years too.

I think one of the only good things about CoD is that they still have split-screen multiplayer for a lot of their games. For people who are too poor (even now) can still enjoy playing with their friends or family at home. Zombies mode really took off because of that too I think.

BF 2042 quickly ironically became my favorite battlefield because of the bots. If the servers are empty you'll still be able to get into a match because the bots fill in the empty spaces until real humans enter the lobby.

Battlefield should stick to making a game every 4 years or more this gives them time to focus on games they already have out and available and giving them proper updates and keeping them active for new or returning players. BF1 came out in 2016 and still got updates and fixes even making use of that new self learning AI which was used for the bots to fill empty spaces in lobbys and reduce match wait times so people can still play BF1 goes to show how much attention this game still gets.

EA never officially announced it , it was something the community noticed overtime like "players" who are level 500 but have no special dog tags or weapons skins equipped or "players" mindlessly running to the objective and getting chopped down by total noobs or the very obvious name tags that look slapped together by a programmer working overtime names like xXplayerXx, 1010111player, pppp1101p, kghesgg, dyiruhjjff, ihjdjdkd, 62yruu4i, and more half arsed name tags. Gave it away they weren't real people. But they actually preform objectives better than a real human reviving me when im down dropping amo when I request it, and repairing any broken vehicles or turrets they see.

2.Reset filter (important since otherwise the old filter settings will remain)
3.Under free slots select the following: none, 1-5, 6-10 and 10+
4.Under full filter you can select the preferred region (EU, Americas and Asia are the most populated)
5.Every step is important!
BF 1 has no bots, only game with bots are BF 2 and BF 2042

I'm afraid you'll have to move to PC with BF 4 if you want more maps, I myself never had consoles so I can't tell you what the landscape of players is on that platform but PC has servers which run all the maps

I play on PS5 and I can find a match on conquest no problem at all at any time of day or night. Also seems to be easy to get into team deathmatch
I prefer four over 2042 mainly for the destruction physics in the environment so it's always been my go-to Battlefield. I don't hate 2042 and I don't think it's a bad game but the maps just don't seem to be as interactive due to hardly no destruction

I think if both teams are decent then the infantry play is great around C. It's also fairly balanced. Points closest to the spawns are great too if you can sneak in there. Lazing is also very effective
