You gotta ask yourself in all of the history of gaming and all the multiplayer maps ever made , what makes cods maps so much different or better than all the other games in the industry.Nothing , cods maps are just boring trash anyone can make. Battlefields maps are iconic and will always blow the competition away. I wish scump, shroud, jack frags would call this out more to show how great battlefield is so it would put shame to these greedy cod devs.

WarZone 1 was great but all the others after were disappointing and they always make u grind for guns in WarZone. U know cod is sweating cause a true triple a is gonna take another crack at battle royale. Watch out cod the true triple a studio is coming for you! U ever seen spectator mode in battlefield in battlefield? It’s like watching a war movie. I couldn’t watch cod for 5 seconds in spectator mode cause it would be boring! Lol

Look at cods supposed classic maps shipments, nuke town. Heck shipment would just be come crates in a battlefield map as cover and just small portion of the map in battlefield. They call shipment a classic map? And on top of that keep remaking this trash. Not inovative and you know it don’t take time to make a small map like that . Hell a 5 year old could make that map. So u know what I change my mind it’s trash

Bf 2042 was worse game for battlefield and it was still better than the best cod. A lot of people hated the gunplay in bf2042 cause it was so arcadie like what game? Arcadie Cod! Look at videos of bf3 and 4,. Way better gun play.

Cod is just a little above average game. Battlefield is a true triple game and everyone knows it.Battlefield is uncontended in having the best graphics, vechiles, destruction and gunplay. Hands down no competition.

Plus, locked weapons is incentive to play the class to gain those unlocked weapons. It disrupts the playstyle of the classes. Engineers don't need access to a sniper so they can camp a mountain and snipe infantry with the sniper and tanks/air with a lock-on rocket launcher

For "Another game mode" DICE could apply mechanics from firestorm. The reason for not locking weapons to classes is to monitize skins and season pass cosmetics. If you are an engineer main, you wouldn't buy a sniper rifle skin, but hey here comes the DICE logic: to conceal that greedy idea behind "We want player freedom". But still, they had such a beautiful skin/outfit monetization in Battlefield V, that they VERY unfortunately abandoned 😦 DICE was used to listen to the community

If your using a sniper rifle or shooting far away try either aiming higher or theres a button on sniper rifles to make them shoot longer its goes from 75 to 150 and 200m i think you should be able to see it under the gun on the HUD

you could be getting suppressed, spread, visual recoil, bullet drop

it helps to know what weapon you were using as what class as well

in battlefield 1 you have spread increase and spread decrease, meaning your bullets start to spread more the longer you fire, so even if your crosshair/ads is on target you arent exactly hitting your target

so u have a game where theres no outplay options in gunfights and the only thing you can do is position yourself ahead of time and spray with incredibly range-compressed guns

unless you're a sniper, then you can ignore the rules and hit anyone anywhere for 80-100 dmg

In traditional FPS games (including BF1 and BF4), recoil is typically centered around the screen center, and your crosshair stays relatively static while the weapon model and bullets move around it. This helps with predictability and muscle memory.

But in Battlefield V, the sight (reticle) itself drifts due to recoil, and your bullets follow that drifting reticle. This makes it feel like your aim is constantly "slipping" away, especially with optics. You can't just "control the recoil" by pulling down and keeping the screen centered — the whole sight picture is moving, which makes it feel janky or floaty to some players.

This was me. I hated how little control I felt I had coming from the older games.

Not writing the game off - I just didn't like that design choice.

Not my experience but experience of people who played it:
Can't see anything due to visual recoil, can't trust screen center because reticle isn't tied to screen center, recoil is also tied to reticle so good luck having any consistent shooting once you get any signs of wobbling

MW gunplay only works with overpowered aim assist which aims for you
