Are we going back to a 2042 class system? The one system that bf fans absolutely hated? Class locked weapons are essential to keeping any semblance of teamplay or class balance.

Ammo box is the most powerful item in the game. Giving it to someone with an assault rifle, which has been is and always will be the most powerful primary creates a system where the Support will be all about selfish running and gunning solo with infinite ammo with no regard for teammates or teamplay. It also means there is zero incentive to actually drop it for other players, as you are a self powered fragger and just rushing into fights head first will be the most popular strategy. Noone cares about logistics points when kills are more rewarding. To avoid this, ammo box must be given to a class with slower ttk, so that they are anchored and available at the frontline, not behind enemy lines chasing kills. This makes them interact more with their teammates by their guns enforcing a slower, more defensive playstyle. It's literally that simple.

Not to mention giving infinite ammo to a sniper, this creates the most obnoxious playstyle you can come across - an infinite camper, who is again - self powered. We have seen this happen in 2042 on Hourglass and it was complete cancer.

If you want to play Engineer, you are in constant need for ammo, as vehicle health, flares and trophy systems self replenish, but your rockets do not. If Support is an Assault with infinite ammo, good luck chasing him for ammo behind enemy lines, or far from objectives when he is sniping. You can only rely on ammo from Supports who defend the frontline, and this depends on giving them defensive weapons.

Ammo scarcity is the most important teamplay mechanic.

Since BF6 is going to have skins, I hope there is a sniper skin that is like a mosin or enfield because those are cool historical weapons and wouldn’t break immersion as I’m pretty sure the mosin is being used in current wars

This is only a light suggestion, I hope these guns are in bf6: Rifles: M4, AK12, G36, G3, HK416. SMGs: P90, MP5, MP7, UMP. Bolt-Action: M40, Intervention, etc (I don’t know many modern bolt actions). LMGs: MG3, RPK, M249, and that one HK one. Pistols: M17, Glock, M9, MP443, and a revolver. Shotguns: M4, KSG, Saiga-12, and a pump action.

Obviously these are really big/heavy suggestions and I’m not expecting any of this. This is just entirely my opinion.
